How would you go about adding the comment though? Just saying "See this video by LoadingReadyRun, it's kinda like this!" seems a bit bland.
Personally, I'm tempted to just post "All you need is Phailinite"
Point of note: I get the feeling that installing Linux on a satellite would cause more problems than it would solve...though I can see the logic in it.

Actually that IS in fact a link to the video.
Also, Matt already posted a link.
...Oh. Epic failure, I hadn't noticed. Well done Matt (and the other Matt who beat him to it)!

Re: Installation Anxiety
What's "User Friendly"? Is it a webcomic?

Re: Installation Anxiety
I think it's a geek news blog, haven't visited in a while though so it may very well be a new webcomic now.

So I was heating frozen pierogis on ye olde George Foreman grill just now, and my brain was all "I'm pretty sure you're supposed to boil them" and I was all "shut up shut up I'm too hungry to boil water."

Re: Installation Anxiety
True story, when I got my scanner/printer/monolith, it came with several CDs worth of bundle software. I sat on the sofa gleefully exhibiting the fact that I'm a tech wizard compared to the rest of my family. My mum was shaking her head in pity and said "you shouldn't be finding it that much fun"
And I just claimed I had installation anxiety, laughed at the joke she would never get, and continued playing with bundle software.

Re: Installation Anxiety
.... I'm not at liberty to discuss it.
I'll say this though; against all logic, phone+printer does not equal fax machine.
Likewise washing machine plus printer does not equal clothes-press. Who knew?

Re: Installation Anxiety
I have to say really quick that this does not just apply to Linux. What about the big companies that only sell Windows computers on the shelf? Aren't they forcing us all to use Windows?
I've seen people on both sides promoting their software in this sick way. The first one ever documented to do it was Bill Gates in his Open Letter saying that if the software was not funded by a giant corporation it would fail and the computer using hobby software like Linux is wasted.
I've also seen crazy kids that have just discovered Linux and think everyone has to use it for everything and that if they don't it's a sin. Sort of like spreading the word of God or Christianity. People don't realize just how close the concepts of Christianity and Free Software are. On one side you have Jesus who selflessly gave his life for others so all may receive it, on the other side you have Richard Stallman and Linus Torvalds who sacrificed making profit on software to help others. For this reason you can also see how a Linux crusade might come into being. While Linus and Richard may not have condoned such blind stupidity it happens just like how Jesus never inspired the crusades.
The other horrible fact is that many distributions of Linux are just too geeky and most humans can't use them. Then there are the geeks that are afraid of changing Linux to be more Windows user friendly. I don't get that?
So I created my own Linux Distribution with a tutorial video as well at http://www.justuselinux.com for people who are using Windows and want to be able to do things like open Microsoft Office 2007 documents, click a start button, Have a My Documents icon and My Computer icon, Play Microsoft Games as well as Linux ones, etc.
So go to http://www.justuselinux.com and give it a try and then tell me that using Linux has to be like in this video.
