That has to be the most adorabel dog ive seen in a while. Im thinking the only reason it didnt jump down is because it ws too far up to do so

I know that this is a common comedic gag, but this is FAR too similar in EVERY aspect to Olde English's "Furry Face".

(To the point where I had to stop watching.)

I've got to say I take issue with that.
I actually really, really like Funny Face, it's one of my favourite Olde English videos. There were a lot of commonalities, like the format, and everything going nuts, and the music (which I had forgotten about until just now re-watching it), but I really don't feel it's anywhere near similar in "EVERY" aspect.

I like Eyewitness Accounts because it's tighter, more frenetic, and with more ridiculous cuts wherein people finish other's sentences.

I still love Funny Face, btw. I just think you're being too critical. Also, you should watch the whole thing before criticizing it that harshly.

I finished watching it a few minutes after I stopped. I'm not trying to ruin your guyses thunder, but that's just how it looks to me, and I know its going to look like that to other people. Other people that won't take the time to notice that it's just similar.

I stopped watching the first time because I felt that I had seen the sketch before, not because of some "this is bullshit" reaction. I wanted to find something different about this, but I couldn't.

Sorry if that offends you, but that's how I feel about the subject.

So, if someone tells a joke that is a new variant of one you've already heard, do you stop listening? If you read a book in which the good guy wins, do you get bored half-way through? I'm almost dead certain you watch movie adaptations of books you've already read. *grins*

The point is, not everything has to be new and ground-breaking. Metal Gear Solid was an incredibly innovative game, but I don't have to tell you that a well made RPG can still be just as equally worth playing, despite RPGs being a classic video game design.

I just don't see how you can actually believe the argument that you'd seen this sketch before, when clearly it's something new, albeit based upon an old idea, or similar to a previous work in nature.

*shrugs*

Fantastically shot. Great timing and fluidity between shots. Awesome collaberation of people. Commendable amount of work for something so difficult.

But...

Was it funny?
I found myself thinking "Jeez, this must've taken aaaages." or "OMG this has been done really REALLY well. LRR are Gods"

But at the end i find that i didn't actually find any of it funny. Again that's not to say i didn't like it. 'cos i've watched it twice and it's still great... just not funny is all.

Maybe once i've read the script and watched it again so i don't have to concentrate so hard i might feel differently.

First post!

Excellent work with the video. I've been a silent fan (read: lurker) for a while now and figured it was about time I signed up for a forum account to give you a virtual pat on the back, so to speak. Everyone seemed on top form for this video, and the editing work is simply faultless.

This definetely rates as a new favourite of mine (right up there with 1337, Sound Wars and How to Speak like a Pirate). Keep up the good work!

Hey, Alja-Markir, I appreciate the backup, but I thought he dismissed it because he thought we'd ripped off OE.
I don't necessarily agree with his choice that it's "not new", but it's his opinion. No worries.

Also, Welcome Crystan!

I really like the video, and I still feel like Andy is channeling Gary Marshall. He doesn't live off of bananas, tuna, and bottled water does he?

Alternate ending:

"Dude, you've got crabs!"

"Yeah - I got them from you, remember?"

(awkward silence)

Apparantly there was a big debate about whether or not to upgrade me from "Mime" to "Small Speaking Role."
