omg awesome. I can taste the recursion.

Seriously loved it, especially the poutine bit. And Ontario City. And all of it.

They are suppose to be a minute.

Good job. Sad how all Canadians know what that is.

Cheers to 140 Canada.

I didn't quite get it, but it was well done.

Does being born on Canada Day give me any sort of honorary Canadian citizenship or anything? It's all a case of "right time, wrong place", sadly.

I have to ask... Is poutine real? This is something that I will be sure to try when I move to Canada.

Yes, poutine is very real, and quite tasty.

I found it pretty funny, even if "I Am Not Canadian". The fact that Canada does the "Heritage Minute" (if you are being DEAD SERIOUS) by far whups the US's ass.

HOWEVER....

Regardless of this campaign, a poll recently stated that ony 40% of ALL Canadian citizens and nationals could actually pass the Canada Citizenship Exam (no joke, I saw it on the scrool on the news today, local news too). In the end, you are just like us down here.

Therefore, I propose a toast to North American Citizenship:

Thank God we were born here, so we never have to be legally tested on this crap.

And by the way... Happy Canada Day and Happy Independance Day to all.

Boy the CBC building looks a lot like the Clearihue Building at UVic. And Bill's office looks a lot like the lobby of the Elliott Building.

This is a good video.

I severely lolled at the nested pullback at the end.

Well done, gentlemen.

Loved the Quebec dig, haha

Very well done. I always love the Canada Day specials. Maybe because I'm a closet patriot.... or a pretty open partriot. I also loved how 1991 looked like the 40s and you made Clearihue look half decent.

Also, will Canadaman be making an appearance this year? I'll actually be in Victoria this time and I wouldn't want to miss it :)

"Let's all go celebrate with some Crystal Pepsi!"

ROFL

I may be a Michigander, but I still liked the vid.

Also, I'm only about an hour away from Windsor, and in all the times I've been the Canada I've never tried poutine :?

I've always viewed it as something akin to chili-cheese fries without the meat. Or the spice.....

I'm not sure where I was going with that. Oh well, Vive Canada!

After watching a few of the clips off the website Paul posted, your clip actually seemed about 10 times more informative than the ones that actually air.
The real clips are SO vague ... Wow.

I admit that with a little bit of background knowledge this video is actually pretty funny, although I'm sure even more so for people who are actually Canadian.

Great job, guys. :) I'm not Canadian at all, but that was a neat and funny little tribute to those 1-minute ads.

But did it actually work as well as the way you guys said it did? :O It seems like a good idea, but I'm not sure kids would really care that much. They sure as hell wouldn't bat at eye down here in the good ol' USofA. Too busy killing people in schools, I wager.

I hate to tell you but This Hour Has 22 Minutes did this same sort of skit like 10 years ago. Yours is funnier though so it all works out.

I...didn't get a laugh.
Actually, the Crystal Pepsi bit was good, but the rest, not so much.

Then again, I AM American, so really none of it made a lot of sense. Although the poutine bit was well done.

Keep up the good work, fellas. Even though you can't make us American fans lulz all the time, you got the Canadian ones to, which was the target of the video (Ya know...CANADA day, and all). So well done.
