No mention of the ocean. How long did Ben last in the ice bath? When my cross country team was in North Carolina (extreme humidity) we took some ice baths. Some of us lasted about five minutes.

And then the traffic grid shuts down. And people are injured by out-of-control buses.

Victoria's street plan has little in common with a grid. And it does not take much snow to get the buses to stop running.

lol nice.
meh 90+ is the norm down here. not to mention the humidity is crazy and makes it feel more like its 110 though the record for Orlando is 101.

Um why where you running in circles and screaming "the Alamo" in the end?

There's a joke about how Edmonton drivers can't do turns, and Victoria drivers can't drive in straight lines.

I must say, that Ice-Bath technique is quite effictive at bringing someone out of a depression. Or at least talking some sense into them.

I personally shall try the Blizzaga trick, as soon as I level up. But, I found a way to escape the heat myself; hide inside an active volcano. When you leave, it'll feel nice and cool. . . Or you won't leave at all, depends on your luck. [/i]

We've had weeks of that kind of heat around here in Colorado. It's even been starting to hit over 100°F. It makes me want to cry. Air conditioning is defiantly my friend. Also, people think I'm weird, because I think that 60°F is hot. 40°F is perfect.

Last week it was in the 100s for Three days in a row down in Pueblo... So I went to the ren fest for one and The Srpings for another.

I think 72 with a nice breeze is absolutely perfect.

Y'know, Bill isn't washing his hands in-between theraputic ice cube insertions.

Ewww...

Guh, I cringed at Paul standing in the toilet bowl. Somebody tell me that was a special effect/camera trick *shudder*. Overall, another excellent X ways to Y video.

Now, I can't compete with Tensen being in Colorado but here in Virginia it's quite hot...but at least it's humid </sarcasm>. Personally, my solution is drinking mojitos and long island iced teas as a Colombian man-servant cools me with a giant feather fan.

oh man, I had to help install a wall in a house in that weather!

I turned lobster.

Also, I prefer mid-60's range.

And Ben has my undying respect for actually doing that ice-cube bath.

And I think Grahm's fan setup is probably the best way to cool off. You don't need to read the paper.

And I'd just like to shout out there, the icecube suppository doesn't actually work that well, even with 3 or 4 cubes... It also comes with some unpleasant side-effects...

[edit]oh, and Morgan with the sprinkler in his pants was ACE! Best part of the video![/edit]

I'm going to play right into this trap. How in the world did you go about finding that out?

YES!
After a few week's more disappointing videos (at least in my eyes), this one was fantastic. It looked like a lot of fun to make, and like all X Ways to Y, it was fast-paced and just overall awesome.

Graham wrote:Thing is, no one in Victoria has A/C.
Malls and big stores do, some offices, sure. But NO ONE has them in their home. Because it simply doesn't get that hot. I was dying on Wednesday.

Same thing here in Seattle. A few days of the year it gets in the mid-high 90's, those SUCK ASS. The rest of the time it'd just be a waste of money.

A few little technical things though:

First off, I loved the Final Fantasy bit. This isn't really a complaint, but it really was jarring that you guys cut off the music for the FF stuff; but at least you did it at a good time, not mid-...sentence?

Second, there seemed to be some weird thumping noises around in the music, but maybe that was my headphones. It sounded like a thumping noise, maybe wind hitting the microphone, not really a constant sound; however, I'm thinking it might not be wind, because it seemed to be in almost every shot, and I don't think there was that much wind (but I could be wrong)

Third, I loved Graham's fan bit. Although it was predictable where it was headed, it still worked out great. Maybe another way would have been everyone to come in and steal his fans, with Graham looking disappointed? I don't know, something to break the predictability. BUT, Graham, you did a fantastic job on that last one, when the paper blew in your face and you wiggled your fingers, that was awesome.

So. Good job, overall ;)

Turn it up very loud and listen? it's really quiet (at least for me)

I'll take your word for it though, if you say it's just me.

Only 97F? Michigan can get a lot hotter (is that a word? it doesnt sound right at 2:30am). And with the Humidity here.. ugh... I think it was 108 the day I was born.. 21 years ago...

But umm, GREAT VIDEO!! The ice bath didn't look too fun, or the idea of an ice suppository. But I like how these videos have one thing you always go back to, in this video it was Graham with the fans, and you kept adding more and more... in an earlier video... I think it was How to Lose Weight or something... you kept going back to Graham drinking bigger and bigger glasses of water... pretty funny!

Keep up the good work~!!!!

How about an W/E Thing now? hmm it's been a month >.>
