Yay!! Why's everyone dogging on Gryffindor all of a sudden? Since when is getting into the "brave" house such a bad thing?

People consider Gryffindor the good house.

Maybe they want to be bad for a change?

I don't care about being evil, I just want to be different.

Being evil is easy. I may not have a very broad evil streak, but it apparently runs quite deep.

Meh, it was just a thought.

I got Slytherin anyways, because I'm a fat bastard.

If you need proof that Gryffindor is in need of an image shift, pick up the latest issue of Details magazine with Daniel Radcliff on it and read the article. Hell even the cover title for the article makes that point.

If Slytherin is evil, why would they invite the kids to school? It doesn't make sense to teach evil people magic.

"Officially" Slytherin isn't evil, but that's just what everybody knows.

thats the ending i expected and the best one too. It makes an unforgettable scene at the end of the movie.
but i think Voldemort would get bored after endless days of onslaught.

yes I made those for the last harry potter book release/ movie... I think at my most I had 4 gryffendors and 2 of each other house. ten altogether and they were given away to people who showed up to wear them. I was a knitting machine.

and slytherin isn't evil. they just have the strongest and most cunning wizards... and when you're that strong and cunning... wouldn't it be tempting to have it all? including the dark arts?

Oh my god yes.

How long are they? The longest I found online are 56" long, and I feel like those are probably longer.

one year i tried to make scarves for my friends for christmas... i actually did finish quite a few... my secret? really thick yarn and huge needles... too bad that doesn't work for these scarves...

and i would totally make myself a hufflepuff scarf... but i go to school in pittsburgh and everyone would just think i was steelers fan....

and 56 inches is a pretty long scarf... i made the mistake of making a rrreeallllyyy long one once.. and if i didn't wrap it around my head about 6 times i would trip over it....

Gryffindor - 11
Slytherin - 6

Being a crocheter and knitter, too, I actually found this quiz in the yarn e-newsletter I received today. That's what reminded me to log in here and catch up on this thread. :)
