I just phoned Graham.

It's 1am here.

But I had to.

And leave him a sappy voicemail.

Telling him how much I loved the video.

No srsly.

And now I feel like I need to post about it here.

One of my favourites.
Like.
Hot damn.

No.

I just really liked it.

I don't know if you meant that to be, 'Kate? Are you drunk? That video sucked!'

Or, "Kate? Are you drunk? Cause you sound drunk!"

But, I like the same type of comedy as the rest of the LRR crew.
Y'know. Seeing as how I grew up with them.
So I thought it was really hilarious.

Oh no, don't get me wrong! I loved the video. But you called your brother in the middle of the night, to tell him he did a good job on his video. Also, the double spacing between sentences caught me a bit off guard. I didn't mean to offend you, so if I did, I apologize.

That video was quite funny and unbelievably professional!
I might have no idea what I'm talking about, but I say that this is your best video yet, technically.

Oh wow... I loved it. Absolutely LOVED IT!

I laughed the hardest after seeing Tally all "abused" by the Toast, and right before the Toast sees James eating, when a tune that remarkably resembles "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" starts playing. That, for some reason, just made me go into hysterics

(Also, lol at me getting excited for Nate having another speaking role... and then realizing that no one talks in the video. Way to get my hopes up, guys x3)

Hearing Graham tell me about the video, just after I got into Vic, and having him giggle like a schoolgirl every time he tried.

Also, you people pay too much attention to fine details. Stop it. =P

Fuckin' ridiculous video, hilarious, and I hate you.

Graham, don't be ashamed that you were singing Sweet Transvestite. It's from a great movie/stage show, and after the AskLRR question about cross-dressing in LRR, it was an appropriate choice. Just look at Eddie Izzard, the "executive transvestite".

However, "Man I feel Like a Woman" would have made us wonder...

I hate to say it, Cake, but all those "references" are either lazy photoshopping, or using the same locations because they're there.

Even I'm not sure what Matt was talking about.

Also, it was Robert Woob. It's an in-joke, don't worry about it.

looks like a looot of work went into it, it's as good as always, but not as funny...

edit: WHO ARE ALL THESE NEW PEOPLE

nice catch. there's another reference in the video tho, see if you can find it. also, I completely disagree with those people saying this video isn't as funny as our previous stuff. I can't watch this video without nearly losing my shit. but then, I'm the same way with those games, which no one seemed to like as much as our other stuff.

Hey Corax, could you go and get bent? That'd be great.

If a name is going to be visible for a split second, and it's late on Thursday night, I'm grinding away a bunch of photoshops, and I want to make the name a little joke for the benefit of a couple people, I'm damn well allowed. Does it detract from the video? No.

Frankly, I couldn't think of an LRR reference name I could use.

And... this is what's going to our videos not funny. Not phoning in the writing, or rushing the shoots, no, it's this.

If Forum-goers weren't so obsessed with details they wouldn't even notice the in-jokes Corax.

Such things are bound to happen and quite frankly I hadn't even noticed anything about that until it was mentioned here. o_o Doesn't effect the video in the least.

As the kids say these days, QFT.

Rose and I thought this video was hilarious. Beautifully surreal - maybe I can be a signatory on my toast's account...

To back Graham up on the Corax issue...

Dude, if you don't like how this site and its productions are made and run, GO MAKE YOUR OWN! Seriously, do you know how many movies tv shows and stage productions have in-jokes? I don't know because they are SUPPOSED to be IN-JOKES for a certain circle of people.

The beauty of an in-joke is that it does not detract from the piece as a whole. To us, Robert Woob is just some guy's name, but to those in on the joke, it's a source of laughter.

As for nitpicking and references, I admit i am guilty of it, but I do it for laughs. I think references to past videos and events gives a sense of nostalgia to the greater piece that is the site. Like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, but more interesting and entertaining.

Awesome!
You can REALLY tell when you guys put a lot of effort in. I mean it shines like no ones business. Not that i don't enjoy the normal weekly videos, infact i find the usual videos more funny (possibly due to the narrower focus) but i RESPECT this video far more you know? I'm trying to compliment you here but i'm not sure how it's sounding.

hmmm... YOU GUYS TOTALLY RAAAWWKKK!!! (that'll work)

Plus, I hope on the podcast you cover...
1) How hard Jer had to slap Tally around to give her that shiner.
2) What it actually says in the contract.
3) Some of the dialogue that was spoken. Did it make sense or was it just random gurgle to make it look good?
4) Tally looks HAWT moving boxes. Srysly. (anyone? No? just me?)

HOLY CRAP!

I just got around to watching it now, and, technically speaking, that was by far the best work I've ever seen by you guys. The video, editing, music, and timing was absolutely perfect. Seriously, great job guys, this was amazing.

Comedically speaking, I'd have to say this was one of my favorites. It didn't quite make me "lol" the whole time through, but it was fantastically funny and a great idea (props to whoever suggested it), and I laughed at the end when Matt saw the toast, took a bite, then through it away.

Truly great job, guys. Keep pumpin' 'em out!

I wanted to add that the shot where Toast remembers Matt cracks me up every time. Something about the way he turns his head...and also just because it's Matt.

I thought Matt's performance at the start was very good.
It was as if you'd practiced that sort of 'oh noes, i'm late, i've gotta rush!' routine every working day of your life or something.
