Honestly? Much better without flange. It might have been good in another music video, but according to me a love ballad should utilize as little effects as possible so it sound more "human" if you understand what I mean.

All I can say now is that I wish I could get it as an MP3, so I could stick it on my MP3 player.

How tall are you Jer? ANSI standard for door height is 7 feet tall. But, I imagine you aren't taller than 7'. So how tall are you, and why are the doors in Canada so small?

A) ANSI, I think, does not apply to Canada.

B) Matt lives in a basement, and normally basement doors are pretty low anyway.

The hights of the cast are in one of the podcasts, not sure which one. Jer is about 6' 2'' give or take a couple inches. Also while ANSI does not apply to Canada, I do not think different sized doors are used in Canada and the US.

ANSI would not apply to Canada because it's the American standard. I was just basing door heights off of it.

They're all freakishly tall.
Bill is around 6'10"? The shortest is Matt, at around 6 feet, maybe a little under.

Basically, Paul looks short, but it's just cause you're comparing him with Bill, Graham, and the rest.

I don't understand this.

Either I am a REALLY bad judge of height, or none of the guys I know are over 6 feet. They are all a couple of inches taller than me, but never drastically so. My friend made a comment a few days ago that my eyes came up to his shoulder, but he still didn't seem that tall to me.

Maybe I am just so used to being short that I have a skewed view of what is tall?

Or maybe Ontarians are just short.

Being betrothed to a gamer, I loved this video. The innuendo is unendingly awesome. A real gamer orders a new shirt.

Oh yeah, and have you guys seen Tripod?

I know someone managed to record Jer singing it for desertbus, and I believe it ended up getting posted. I don't really know where it was posted though, so hopefully someone else knows.

Go download Blaze Media Pro. Install. Go to audio management or something like that. Change settings to record what you hear. Play Ballad and record at the same time. Save as an MP3. You are a winner.

That's what I love about my sound card. I can record whatever comes out of the speakers; movie clips, embedded music, SFX, anything.

Ben is shorter than Matt, FYI. But Matt's basement is HELLA short. I've always hit my head on the damned doors. Jer is, I think, around 6' or 6'1"?

You know im always suprised at how little this video was watched... I personally thought it was a well written song, and for someone who has admitted to not be a singer or a guitarist, its pretty damn good. I play it for my gamer friends mostly, and havnt found a negative response as of yet. mostly they are just jelous of matts collection.

The flagpole line had me chortling, I loved the whole "artistic acoustic guitar backlight shot" thing, I agree that Jer's voice is a little flat here, and it's not entirely my favorite song vid of yours yet, but I am still going through the archives.

Props to Matt for laying down the smack on the freeloaders earlier in this thread, but like a true Canadian, Graham apologized for it. Awesome meta-commentary.
