It's saturdays off, you can relax and go to synagogue in one day. Also are you Jewish? Probably not, so that would make me the higher authority on this.

I am Jewish.

I can tell you that days of rest and days of prayer are not technically the same thing.

this post needs some George Lucas-ing

what i meant was, i didnt really get that many of the references, and im not that big of a fan of the long takes with minimal cuts, so it seemed like a waste of effort there imo.

Saturday is the "day of rest" you're supposed to spend doing religious stuff.

Sunday is that actual day of lounging around for Jewish people. Like Saturday for Gentiles.

Well that would be assuming that I actually went to synagogue.

I was wondering that myself...maybe it's an unannounced roadtrip or something?

Of course, I wasn't an active viewer during the last one, so I wouldn't know if they posted during the roadtrip or not.

As is discussed in the Late Video This Week thread, Graham's computer broke on the same weekend they made the trip to Nanaimo to attend the festival.

As a result, the video was late. It's now up on Revver, although not yet on-site.

I don't know what I can say that hasn't been said before, but this video is fantastic. It really shows what the crew of LRR is capable of, and is very wonderfully different from past videos. The acting (and not just Andy's) is very, very good and professional.

Very sorry for threadnomancying this, but I have just watched this for the first time and I am very, very impressed.

I'm not trying to put down the rest of your work guys, but somehow when Andy's involved with the writing it seems to go to another level: this was a wonderful premise, revealed at a good pace with some great jokes and fantastic writing. I also think the script brought out some of the best performances I've seen from you: I loved Morgan's buddhist. I realise this may just be adding another unecessary voice to the clamouring crowds, but more Andy please :)

I have to say this is one of the best sketches... I even got all my family to watch it. They all asked me to bookmark the site so they can check everything else out.

I feel like I have achieved true geekery. I am using this video as the single outside soruce in my Bible as Lit class. I'll teach you to give me complete freedom. I'll use LRR.

Welcome, and plus 1 to what Tim said. The video isn't even internally consistent as to who's who.

It doesn't have to be accurate I just have to take anything with strong biblical references, analyze them, and then discuss my feelings on the subject. XD

It also only has to be three pages long and I already written that much.

Considering one of the suggested sources is 'The Simpsons Bible Stories' I feel I'm safe.

Also according to a girl in my class after we watched this; Andy sounds like a 'angry Kennedy'.

Sure.

This is one of my favorite videos of all time. It's the one that got me forever hooked to the site. Still one of the best written LRR videos ever. To introduce my friends to LRR I told them all specifically to watch this video. Great stuff. HI-larious

This is, quite simply, the most brilliant thing I've ever seen on the internet. I've been watching your videos for the past several days, and while all of them were impressive, amusing, entertaining, or flat-out riotously funny, this is (so far) the most intelligent, witty, hilarious satire I've ever seen. And, as if the script wasn't brilliant enough on its own, you do the whole thing in one take.

Constructive criticism: could've used a little more rehearsal. There were times when it seemed like the cameraman wasn't sure what he should've been looking at, and as I've seen mentioned before, Andy gets called by the wrong name a couple of times. That's the only piece of criticism I have, actually. I thought everyone was brilliant in their roles, the pacing was impressive, the script was tight, and shooting the whole thing in one take was not only gutsy but it also added a lot of tension to the scene.

I know this video is already a few years old, but I just wanted to say this was absolutely superb.
