Super Secret Surprise
You heard that right, LRR is now going to be updating on MONDAY. We will talk about the reasons for this in the podcast, but essentailly it works much better for scheduling.
In any case, remember to come back on Monday for this week's real update!

This should certainly be interesting, though I'm largely wondering what it'll be like for me to be watching new videos right before college instead of right when I wake up on Saturday (GMT timezone here, this is actually the first time I've been awake for an "update". Go figure)
Nice to see Ash in a video again too, even if it is just as a literal walk on-walk off affair

i am the walrus....
i'm assuming that was jer in the padded outfit...WHY DO YOU OWN THAT?!..there has to be a story here...
[EDIT] james - that was a pretty wussy slap...just saying
"I studied the ancient art of Origami gun making, and i've folded a pistol out of purest prose. This is an Origami 45. The most powerful poetry in the world."
Hmmm, reminds me of when I was younger and my parents split. Originally me and my sister changed house on Friday nights, but then we changed over to Monday nights. Basically it was so we could plan the week ahead (and mainly weekend).
My parents said it worked better for them, but as for me... eh I didn't see much change, really.
Can't wait for Monday's video, though.

I'm guessing it's so you'll have the weekend to work on the video, instead of trying to get it done during the week and posting on Friday.
(never mind)
Anyway, I was quite disappointed to see that we'll be having less walrus.

So, last week Graham was in the forums saying, "video's gonna be late. computer crapped out." And everyone was like, "bye to the one video every week streak." And Graham was like, "nuh uh, as long as we get another one out next week, it's still a video per week."
And the video didn't come out Saturday, or even Sunday. The video came out Monday.
Saying "a video each week" really means "a video per week average" is stretching the definitions a bit. But NOW. NOW it all makes sense. High Noon wasn't really late. They just switched to a new schedule, and decided it'd be fun to create some drama ... drama, like in a film or something ... I bet they've been filming us in the forums this whole time, and Monday's video will be us, freaking out on them, and them laughing maniacally at the chaos they can create.
This video, posted on a Friday -- an unusual day to post according to new schedule, is the hint. It's the clue. This will let them enjoy how nobody figured it out, when clearly all the information was out there.
I'm sorry guys. But I've figured it out.

"How many members of a certain demographic group does it take to perform a specified task?" "A finite number: one to perform the task and an additional number to act in a manner stereotypical of the group in question."
