Matt wrote:it is very unlikely that a child will ever be in a position where they encounter extreme violence, but sex is virtually inevitable. since sex carries a significant risk, it should come as no surprise that parents would try to shield children from it - to keep them from engaging in it before they are responsible and mature enough to understand and handle the risk involved.

This is also why Janet Jackson's boob flop at the Super Bowl made national headlines. However, if one looks at a still of the "reveal", the nipple (which is what people REALLY get upset over) was no visible, as she had a nipple shield on (think brooch pin through the nipple).

What adults need to do is present the facts straightforward to their children in an honest way and explain that they would prefer abstinence until they feel they are ready for the responsibility. But the child needs to know within themselves when they feel ready.

Finally, people need to know that there is a difference between porn and entertainment. If it's sex for the purpose of sex, that isn't great. If it is part of the story (like in Knocked Up, Dreamgirls, and Chicago), then the viewer needs to know that, and if they don't agree with it, don't watch it. But that decision needs to be made PERSONALLY.

I just watched Foxes "story" and had to watch it twice because it was that bad. I remember when the news just reported news and not just how celebrities are doing and talking about stuff they know nothing about.

unbelievably funny,

i can't get ovet the fact that my cheeks hurt, that was the funniest thing i have seen in a while. Just awesome, already sent link to friends.

it was strange as i had only seen the fox news 'coverage' of the xbox sex scandal, yesterday - fuckers they are. i don't think fox has been an actual news reporter for the last few years at least.

Max Effect is now number five on the most popular videos list.

Edit: Max Effect passed Installation Anxiety and is now number four. It has a LONG way to go before it passes How to Talk Like a Pirate.

You say this as if the problem is restricted to Fox News. Because CNN is so totally unbiased.

That's the reason I don't watch the news any more. LoadingReadyRun is at least honest that their videos are fiction(most of the time), and they provide more accurate news about the goings-on in the world, to boot. Honestly, I don't watch Fox News either. Not because "OMGZ, htey arr of the devilzzz right-wing!" but because they're too liberal for my tastes.

This is probably the part where I get crucified for saying Fox isn't evil incarnate, and that I think the Conservatives are the good guys.

Not the Republicans, per-se. They're slipping too far left, too, in my opinion.
Deemed too hazardous for human contact.

Apparently, people complaining about the side of a boob is liberal nowadays.

If that's liberal then i'd hate to see conservatives.

Hasn't this controversy been out for ages... and hasn't that person that made all the outrageous claims retracted her comments and apologized for accusing it of being porn?

Still good video, i loll'd a few times. Just think it's a bit late.

It is fairly old news, but the Fox News report on it (and the resulting online frenzy) just happened like a week ago.

WARNING: This motion picture contains explicit portrayals of violence; sex; violent sex; sexual violence; clowns and violent scenes of violent excess, which are definitely not suitable for all audiences.

When someone else began to rant about fox, they posted the original video.. And THIS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ixt1eu11LXk

These asshats deserve to be lynched, imo.

EDIT: Sorry if this has been posted before, I scanned each page but didn't notice any other links other then the original.

Yeah, we've seen it. It's a little disappointing how directly, and unfunnily, they decided to attack us, but whatever. We're not going to give them the satisfaction of retaliating. They clearly have a different viewer base than we do.

The kind that thinks 4 minutes of the word "penis" is comedy gold.

The LRR parody was WAAAY better.

These guys was pretty much the same thing, but the guy was gay. You know, cutting off the video game expert.
And the censored penis? Pfft, that's like... a Date Movie kind of joke.

So you think that this was an attack at LRR instead of a 'ph'ailed attempt at comedy? I guess that makes sense.. I'm still all for the lynching idea myself.

Who needs lynching? I bought a Springfield Armory 1911 like, 2 weeks ago. That'll work for anything we'd need to do to them....
