I do not live alone any more. My brother moved in with me. I showed him the video right off the bat. Just to be sure.

Another one of my classic faves, mostly because of Matt's delivery of the steps and all the awesome footage we don't get to see (except on the DVD, right?).

my friend always uses my toothpaste when she crashes at my place, and my food and my HP sauce and my Tea, and my bed!

no this isn't a joke she nicks my bed when I'm not looking

So Graham isn't that much of a son of a bitch

I am currently using one of my best friend's computer and will sleep in his bed while he takes the sofa after I took him to see a free movie the day before his birthday.

And it's a really comfy bed, too.

Hey, I hope I'm not too out of form bumping this as a newbie, but, thanks to the magic of boredom and perverse bloody-mindedness, I bring you this reconstruction of all the fast-forwarded clips in the video.

In reply to the discussion that happened earlier: the clip from James Masterson is definitely spoken by Jer, but having the video also slowed down and synced to the audio makes it easier to see that the rest is all Matt (and Paul, obviously, and someone off-camera in the Paul bits that's too quiet for me to pick the voice... maybe James?).
While no one overhear you quickly tell me not cow cow.
but how about watch phone?

I'm surprised nobody thought to try this before. Kudos to you, good sir. I just assumed it was all random gibberish added in post, since filming several minutes of content (Matt in various suits) for the use of a ten second joke seemed like a lot of work.

Oh, and way to make the rest of us look lazy!

I just tried slowing it down (mplayer has handy buttons to change the playback speed on the fly) so I could make out what was on the screen... and it turned out that it made the sound audible too. I wasn't expecting it either, but yeah, there's a heap of hilarity in there. I couldn't get the phrase "I'm Matt's toothpaste! Squeeze me everywhere!" out of my head for ages.

Looking around, I didn't see that anyone else had done it (though someone did post the audio track for the sped up bits) so I figured the full slowed-down clip had to be made. Also, I was sick of obsessively pounding the slowdown and speedup keys in mplayer every time this video came up in my "entertain me, computerised video machine!" shuffle.

Now, after trying to make it in Cinelerra, I realised I didn't have a video editing program that was actually any good, so I rolled my own... extracted the video with mplayer into an uncompressed audio track and a directory full of PNG files (14GB all up!) and wrote a Python script to duplicate frames and slow down the audio as necessary to slow down the sped-up clips, and then used mencoder to pull it all back together into an AVI. cH-Paul would be proud.
