graham, you are right, it did change my opinion of him. still wouldn't give him a game project, but now i'm actually curious about postal... it's to bad that a) i'm sort on cash and b) it's no where near where i live. oh well.

seeing him like this, out of his press-persona was a really great thing. this is something that should make the rounds on the net and not all the spewing hatred. but such is the net.

Okay, I've watched the video now! It definitely changed my opinion of him, as a person, for the better (not to say that a bunch of his movies I've seen still aren't shit, but, hey, at least he's trying)

Wonders never cease...

Did you give him a LRR shirt? After all the jokes made at his expense over the years (my personal favorite can be found tucked into the Outtakes for "The Bet" on the Season 3 DVD), he's earned it.

This made me giggle at the end, was it intentional?

Since a transcript of this would probably be useful, could somebody divide the interview up into segments and then people could create a transcript of each segment rather than one person doing the whole thing?
I would organize this more myself, but I have a paper to finish.

Great interview. I don't know how you got him but wow.

Now for next week's video you need to take your archive of footage from the interview, rewrite your questions & re-edit the video into a new interview, much like what they did on Space Ghost Coast to Coast

I'ma go post that idea in the Video Suggestions forum now.

I guess I'm mildly surprised that a single interview changed so many minds/opinions. This makes me curious about how people come up with their position on topics in the first place.

Did we all just see the various propaganda and follow it as a mob?
More importantly did this realization carry over into other topics in your lives?
Will more of you do some research on other commonly held beliefs?

When the petition came out for Anti-Boll, I almost signed it. But I stopped myself, because I realized that I hadn't seen any of the movies. The only frame of reference I had was my friends who had seen his movies (and disliked them) and this site.

So did this interview actually make you like Boll, or his movies? (general question).. Because someone doesn't have a huge budget doesn't mean they get a free pass to make a horrible movie. I've seen a lot of independent movies that the production value on the movie was horrible, but I still hold them in high regards as wonderful movies. So since Boll gets to say, quite after the fact, that some of his movies were more of a joke, or that he made them to be something different for difference sake makes them good?

I agree that this should be added to IMDB. Also, allen, are you going to stalk around the starbucks now?

Wow, I'll admit that I'm impressed. I disagree with a fair amount of what he said, and I still don't think I'm going to go out and see any of his films soon, but I can see where he's coming from and, for the most part, I sympathize with his point of view. Going into the video, my first thought was along the lines of "OK, I like LRR, but they've really run this 'let's bash Uve Boll' thing into the ground", but as soon as I saw what it actually was and realized that Graham wasn't just going to insult and provoke him for twenty minutes, I started to really like the idea.

Also, I'm in consensus with everyone who's saying you should put the full version online or at least on the DVD. Out of curiosity, though, how much does he know about the site? Was he aware of your history of boll-bashing before he consented to the interview?

I would say "like", but I certainly respect the man more now. I definitely hold no personal ill will for him, and I hope he is successful.

I still think the movies of his that I have seen, are awful. But that is my opinion.

I've never hated Uwe Boll, though I did hate the Blood Rayne films. I actually wanted to see this movie for the novelty factor (few Americans will see it in theatres). When Uwe said "Tucson" at the end of the video, I found that the theatre is only 15 minutes from my house. I'm alright now, I suppose, because I would not recommend seeing postal.

Also, Morgan's demographic was mainly true: of the eight people in the theatre, one looked like a mental patient, then there was me, and then there were a few 15-year-old kids looking for an empty one for deviousness.

All in all, I don't want to see the movie again, but I just felt bad for Uwe.

Fixed. I'm willing to accept 'Digged' because Digg is already not quite a word, but 'Dugged' would be double-past-tense, and a redundancy.

This was a really good video. Uwe Boll has always fascinated me a little, but what I'm really curious about is how you got him to agree.
