That movie haunts me, haunts my psyche.

I include it on the list of reasons that I'm insane.

Well done guys! I was watching this with a friend at his place. We laughed a big huggy bunch at the brilliant writing at the lame excuses. We loved the end, poor old Prime

Funny story. Just a few weeks ago I watched Flight of the Navigator and Explorers back to back since I loved both when they were new. Turns out, Explorers stands up much better over time.

The end line of him "summing up" his excuses initially made me think "Yeah, that was very clear, like the ending to MGS4...".

I'm the only person in the world who thought that the ending to MGS4 made some sense. Also, I feel bad for killing Johnny in MGS1 and resolved never to do so again.

This comment has nothing to do with the video.

Somehow that reminds me of the line from the Molvanian smash hit "Elektronik Supersonik":

"Above us, there is nothing above, but the stars above."

For the curious, it continues with:
"All systems gone, prepare for down-count.

I liked the T-shirt Ad very much; it reminded me of JMSDI. That would be a great way to do ads: re-shoot tiny segments of old videos to include adverts.

Now that you mention it; Graham do sound like Dylan at the start of the last phonecall. I Like Matt's attitude during the first few lines exchanged between him and Graham.

Reference to the episode Backwards probable. The entire video reminds me of Red Dwarf Series 8 'Pete' Part One and 2 when Rimmer and Lister are called into the Captain's Office with more and more bizarre calamities they've caused.

Shirt ad rocked
I thought the outlandish excuses for being late were pretty funny, but this being LRR, I knew Graham's character was going to end up telling the truth in the end.

Or Tally has quite the harem started.

I found this video hilarious, especially since it was my birthday on the 13th and I called out sick with the lamest thing ever.

Frankenjam is right. It's the backing track from "1337", which was used in "Pimp My Chair" for Killabyte's intro music (played over the silly playground clip). PMC also included the "Shake Hands With Danger" song, though it predated the release of "Shake Your Hands".

I actually didn't like the ad. It just seemed kind of lame that Graham was the "hostage." Now Graham's Dad as the hostage (with Graham holding the AK-47) would have been funny!

I don't know about that. I called in once on a "Climate" weather day. :D Inclimate Weather = too bad to go outside
Climate weather = too nice to stay inside ???

I have a coworker who calls in quite regularly with "an eye problem"... if you asked more details he would say "I just can't see myself coming in today." (He's retirement age, with a lot of sick leave built up and can get away with crap like that.)

Did I mention I work for the gov't???

Well, obviously, but we're looking for the original.
