I would really, REALLY like that line drawing of the Icelandic guy coming to America (sword in hand, Hawaiian shirt on) as a wallpaper or something because seriously, I had to pause the video for a few minutes and get the laughs out.

Matt and Graham's little moment of 'I'm gonna go.......' when Matt first walked in and heard Kathleen talking was freaking hilarious. I die laughing every time. xD

Hilarious. One of my favourites from the last while.

Emperor Gum wrote:This is the shit; far and away the best produced LRR video ever. All the things happening in the backs of shots, all the tie-ins between shots such as the artwork on the fridge, the quick editing...beautiful. It was so much faster than other videos, it almost didn't feel like a LRR one.

Was the picture behind Kathleen's head in her big speech relevant to the video? It sort looked like it might be, but I couldn't work it out.
The only thing wrong with it is that the clock on Matt's head keeps changing with the different shots. As it didn't ruin the video in the slightest, I'll make this invisible.
EDIT: Also you did my favourite LRR plot device, not resolving the situation.

I have to agree, this video exemplifies the "LRR" directing and editing styles. (at the very least, the Graham Stark style, but I can't imagine the others being very divergent in those areas. Usually you can tell who did the writing, though)

What The Fuck.

I cannot laugh because I am so confused and then all at the same time in another universe I cannot be confused because I am laughing so hard. And then the two things happen at once at I am left just starring blankly at the video knowing that watching it again cannot help bring words to my head, but it does not matter because Mantorok already won.

WHAT THE FUCK.

I came in here to say exactly this.
And maybe a propaganda poster-style version of kathleen with the hat in front of the flag, but the drawing just require a scanner.

Article wrote:Shark experts were unconvinced and think it more likely that the shark would have fed on a bear's carcass, rather than killed a live bear, as even a young animal would be a fierce opponent.

As a big proponent of bears as the supreme living species, I find this theory highly relevant.

Article wrote:Battle for top of the Arctic food chain

Weight: Adults Greenland sharks and mature polar bears weigh in at more than one tonne. The bears just have the edge.

Age: These sharks are among the oldest on the planet, some living for 200 years. Polar bears rarely live beyond 25.

Range: Polar bears can swim for up to 60 miles in open water. The shark can descend to depths of 2,200m.

Weapons: The bears' claws are for digging in ice, its teeth are its main weapon. The shark has rows of sharp upper teeth.

200 years? Wow, old sharks.

I think polar bears still win on sheer awesome, though.

I gotta be honest, a bear-ruled society scares me about as much as a matriarchal society. One of my most trustworthy, reliable friends is of very ursine personality.

And physique...

I've pretty much always considered bears allies.

the hat exists only in her mind. if you watch the pizza cam, when it rewinds to her speech she never actually has the hat on. it's just a figment of her imagination.

that was intentional.

Every time I watch this video it gets a little more ingenious.

I don't think anyone else mentioned it, but the listening viking is adorable.

The gray bits in Graham's hair were a fantastic effect. Very believable as an older version.
Chalk dust is a pretty good guess. It worked for Old Snake so well...

In other news, this is my first post since June. Hooray for doing other things.
