If you combined even more fast humor, would it cause a giant gaping black hole which would destroy all life on the planet?

I guess in essence I'm asking: Would we have a Large Humor Collider?

I'm wondering is rejected Churchbell playing Steve the same Steve as in The Truce?

Also Shush guy, absolutely brilliant with the car backing up. We need more creative ridiculous ways for him to flawlessly back out of difficult situations.

Oh and excellent Rapidfire.
My train of thought is more like a roller coaster that has loop de loops and no safety bars.

Great video, the intro really had me in stitches, and it just kept going from there.

In the Rodriguez & Riley sketch, James started saying a line and was interrupted two different times. Goof, or Intentional?

Some points so far:

- It's not Paul, and it's not Johnny Lunchbox, it's Johnny Blakeborough (in both Explanations and Fridge'd)
- The tiny, barely visible guy stamping his robe at the church, was intentional.
- I know about the White Stripes. Thank you. Why is no one mentioning that they were totally tangental to Riley's stream of thought?
- We do not have Royal Mail in Canada, we have Canada Post. The reasons for using Royal Mail are as follows:
-- I have the jacket (love it!)
-- I love Postman Pat
-- We couldn't FedEx or something, and we needed to have the jacket
-- We figured it would be funny to people from the UK, but look like a normal courier service to anyone else

Glad you all like it, too!

Best one evar!

My first thoughts in the beginning when the church guy said "Alright, stop" was "collaborate and listen".

I love the shoosh guy. (Thought Graham couldn't drive?)

And if double posting wasn't bad enough, a triple post to say that Rapidfire is quickly becoming one of my favorite things you guys do.

Rapid Fire

Postby johnny » 07 Oct 2008, 08:35

Great job everyone. I too thought the Shhhh Guy backing up in his car was perfect.

As Graham mentioned in a podcast, the Explanation skits we did were filmed way back in November of '07 I think, during Desert Bus For Hope. Man I had forgotten what I looked like with side burns, maybe I'll grow the mutton chops back...

Yay! My first post as a member of this site!

I have to say, this week's video was well done!
My favorite was the sshh man, I cannot wait to see more of him!
seriously, I lol'd.. right in the middle of class.
The one with the church bells was pretty lame, I'm sorry to say, I didn't really get the purpose of it.. I didn't find it funny at all.

Other than that, there's not much else I have to say about it!
great work!

Loved the explanation and the bells. Ad was probably one of the funniest bits of the video.

lolwut i dont getit

I'm getting the impression that I might be in a minority for liking the fridged segments. Also, Matt did an amazing job of being a pissed off driver, it was pretty convincing, which made the shush/drive away much funnier to me.

I need to try that ass pants line once. I bet I could make it work.

I hadn't noticed this at first but I did think something was slightly off, after reviewing this it is all the more hilarious to me :D

Also, this means I do have something to add to the Timeline: The Warriors of Darkness living in England for a time!

Hmm...this means precedent for Rapidfire canonicity...

Not really... Rapidfire doesn't relate at all to the "Us Playing Us" sketches.

Postman Pat
Postman Pat
Postman Pat and his black & white cat. How could you not like that :D

Matt you made me laugh when you popped out from behind that WoDarkness explaining to all that you would see us buying a T-shirt. Can we be friends? Btw any special pricing on merch for the event? :?:

This created a wide grin for the entire duration.

I love the Warriors of Darkness - and the church bell thing had me just in stitches. It's like the Failure teacher decided to hear the call of the clergy...and found that it wasn't any better there.

I also do like the Friiiiiiiiidged! sections. I just do!

To be honest, though, the star of the new Rapidfires for me are the Andrew Shepard sections...the duelling campaigners (Poor Laura!), Morgan's delivery and the great sound work are really wonderful.

Thanks guys!

"And it is my firm conviction that the passive voice be made illegal!" Linguistic gold. It took me a split second, but then I actually had to stop the video in order to finish laughing.

And then right after that, "You called the ambulence yet? Heh. You will."

Also, why are the pundits not in jail for murdering Laura?

Also, also, it seems that Steve's been recording the dope beats and tight ryhmes of Killahbyte on the Bell Master's tapes.

Which is it, Johnny Lunchbox or Johnny Blakeborough? I'M SO CONFUSED.

Nice video. I'm glad to see that the Riley/Rodriguez segments are going somewhere.

Since when has that ever stopped us?

And couldn't we put Rodriguez and Riley in somehow? Shouldn't be too hard to make up an extremely convoluted reason for their inclusion.

Isn't that the point, or am I totally out in left field?

But then again, the subtle nuance always seems lost on me...until the 2nd or 3rd or even other subsequent viewings.
