No idea how I missed that!
Bitchin' mike, and it really looks like how I imagined it from the name. The stand just adds to the whole....balliness of it.

Paul looks really homeless in his hoodie, massive beard, and parking lot. I'm saying this mostly because it's true, but also because he makes me even more ashamed than usual to call my facial hair a beard. Damn you and your gorgeous brunette shrubbery!

Also, the debut album of the Paul Saunders/Hazmatt duo better be for sale at the screening. For serious.

Does anyone else think that the picture of Graham for the video label thing look like some weird cross between Rip Taylor and Jiminy Glick, with maybe a bit of super gay beard guy mixed in.

GIR! I will get robotic on your ass!

Anyway, I think the one thing we need to remember is that comparatively to the rest of 64K, Paul is kinda scrawny, so he is gonna swim in the costuming, which may give him a slightly homeless look. That and its easier to get a tux in grahams size that fits paul than one in pauls size that fits graham.

But anyway, Paul was awesome in this, as was Matt. For his first major script, he did very well. I think Matt may have some more skills than he lets on.

I liked it, especially the actual rapping bits, Tim Matt and Paul all had great performances. Although I had a few thoughts/suggestions:

In the opening Evil Inc bit (specificly Paul's short monologue) why does the wall slowly shift colors? It's sort of weird.

I thought hazMatt's rap sounded a little rough/forced, perhaps if he wasn't trying to be so loud, it could of been smoother.

While most of it had very good production value, the lack of audience cheers and booing really hurt the verisimilitude of the whole TV show atmosphere.

Also, "This is why I'm Paul" deserves to be a full length LRR video. Please make that happen, or at least have Paul do more high-production value rap parody's.

Jeeeerrrrrrrr!

I will point out I didn't necessarily wake up that morning expecting to co-write/record/produce a rap ;). If you want consistency, I need at least 30 mins notice before I start recording.

Beyond your standard gate and compressor stuff, Paul's voice is liberally laced with as douchebagy a chorus filter as I could muster. The echoes are applied manually to the last word of every phrase (similar to the hook from Those Games), except for the final one, which actually uses a filter.

What. The. Fuck. This video was AMAZING.

Jer: Paul's rap sounds awesome. I--like everyone else--would love to get their hands on a non-web-rip version of it. Also, I thought Matt's rap was not only tight as hell, but also very clever.

Yeah, what the hell?
I noticed that when I was editing, because I was scrubbing through the footage much faster than normal speed. I wasn't sure if anyone would notice at normal speed. But you. You catch these things.

I blame some shoddy florescent lights in the room messing with the auto white balance (which we usually lock off).

Don't really think Paul looks like Theodore Kaczynski, but I'm reasonably certain the beard only looks bigger because the hoody covers Pauls heard, effectively making his head look smaller.

Quite a good video all round.
Quick questions:
At any point in developing the script did hazMatt win, or was Killahbyte always going to supplant Ice Tray as the new member of 64K?
I'd thought it was kind of pointless Morgan having two very similar characters like that, so is this a handy way of combining the two characters into one, or can we expect some solo performances by Ice Tray now that he's left the group?
Also, is 64K now JP, GStar, and Killahbyte, or does Killahbyte now take up the role and name of Ice Tray in the group when if comes to billing? If so, then will the old Ice Tray have a new name in his solo career?

That's the joke though. Is that they were two similar characters, played by the same guy.

Epic. Win.

Hot damn, that was a good video. Better than good. It was awesome in a way that 'awesome' cannot fully describe. What a way to end the season!
