Fantastic

Video wouldn't load in Blip.tv mode though, so I watched it in QuickTime mode.

Fantastic!
UVic bunnies finally get their comeuppance! An exciting conclusion of Rodriguez & Riley! Star Wars Action Figures!
Good work guys. This is by far my favourite of the Rapidfires. My only criticism would be that the extended joke fell a bit flat (maybe there's a reference I'm missing again?) and the absence of Shush Guy.
All the segments were great and I liked how you tied a few of them together. Good work!
Also, the Blip.tv did not work for me either so I viewed it in Quicktime.

P.S. Matt punching out Paul's boater hat = epic win.

I've been waiting for a Dune reference ever since Spore's intergalactic currency was Spice.

Very nicely done, but I count five Rapidfire IIs, does that mean this is the end of Season 2?

I liked it. Rodrigues going out like he did is awesome cool on one side, but I also think its a bit sudden and a bit dull. I too missed the shush guy a little.

The video didnt run in Firefox for me, but opening it in an Internet Explorer tab did the trick. Weird :?

Ulric in a Hawaiian shirt! I love it! XD

The running gag's punchline was a bit sub-par for me...though Jer's delivery was fantastic.

The explanation gag was awesome, as were Fridge'd and the Riley sketch. Very nice, all around.

Oh, and Matt's drink. Jesus that's a lot of fruit.

Possibly my favorite RF, just because of the Dune reference!

Everything else was just top notch! Notice the Ulrich stuff must be old because he doesn't have the gauntlets from Rapstar

The storyline that goes throughout the episode (I can't quite recall the correct terminology) is arguably my favorite throughout the rapidfire series. Spice... awesome.

I love the Dune "spice" joke. Just wanted to make it public and official.

Is anyone else getting "Ads by Google" text across their screen when watching the new videos in full mode? This is really annoying.

This must be the last episode. Things seem to be either wrapping up or coming to their big change. Nice work all around on this season of Rapidfire.

Hmm. Wish I had a spice problem. Just for a little bit. This was my favourite bit throughout this episode. A great ending too. I was waiting for a Dune reference. I've seen Jer's goggles before too. I can name at least three other videos they've been in.

I learned about cricket! And discovered that it's just as uninteresting as American baseball.

I hollered when Matt put his fist through Paul's boater hat. I know it's just a prop but I also know how much the real hats cost.

I believe the term you're looking for is "Running Gag." As in, "Chief Running Gag strikes again."

Sweet vid guys, very nice. Kinda bummed about Rodriguez though, I liked him but I love how he got fridge'd inside a parking lot with a low concrete celing :D

The explanation gag was a little erronious, but only because I understood and could follow what he was saying, but maybe that's just because I'm British, like it's a genetic predisposition to understand cricket :P

It was a little shorter than recent vids too, but I guess spoiling us with lots of LRR could only last for so long...

I woke up my roommate with my laughing when Jer opened the closet.

The guitar tuner to the head was totally worth such comedy brilliance.

This is not the finale.

And that is not the end of Rodriguez (it's not supposed to be him who got Fridge'd... that was ambiguous)
Just so you know.

Like British series, we're going 6 episode with this one.

Ah, see, it's easy to assume that Rodriguez is the one under the fridge, but I guess there could have been other reasons Rodriguez wasn't present at this particular crime scene.

Reasons both in the video and out of it.

A new record of number of females in a LRR vid?

And Cricket doesn't make sense, no matter how many starwars figures or millions of dollars worth of CG animation one uses to explain it; nothing can make that sport make any sense.

Also, a very nice way to link Fridge with the other stories.

Postby therichpoorman » 24 Nov 2008, 11:50

hey Graham just so you know,

most British shows have 8 episodes, it would be the pilot series that has 6.

i'm not saying "you're missing 2 more episodes"
i'm just being a know-it-all douche.

I think the running sketch would have been better if to get rid of the "spice" jer became The Amitevness and, you know.....

also i didn't get the shepard sketch what did the guy yell at the end?

Black Books, The IT Crowd, League of Gentlemen, Peep Show, That Peter Kay Thing, Spaced, Pheonix Nights and Big Train all have 6 episodes a series for their entire run.

Mostly the British shows I watch are comedy, you see.

I can't stop laughing every time Morgan fridges someone XD

Warriors of Darkness bit was pure gold, for a second I was: wtf... where is Derrick?

Graham wrote:And that is not the end of Rodriguez (it's not supposed to be him who got Fridge'd... that was ambiguous)

Awesome, I was getting worried for Rodriguez, if he goes out, he needs to go out with style and not just by a fridge.

I noticed that the drawing on the ereaserboard changed between the big robot & chick (how long have they been there, anyway?) & some sort of flowchart in this episode. Was that a clever recreation or was the explanation part of this filmed back during Desert Bus 1 like the 300 explanation?

I like how Jer has some sort of personal vendetta against the spice. Sounds.... personal.

It's funny how at the Andrew Shepard headquarters James rolls his eyes right when we hear his voice shout out "keg stand!" in the background of the phone call.

I've seen Morgan's jacket before. Not only in other LRR videos but nearly every day of my childhood. My father worked at Uniroyal for 35 years. They make Naugahyde vinyl upholstery.

+ Red Dwarf

Well the 2 final series had 8 episodes

Back to the video

Was the bunny real? I mean it's not like you seem to have any problems getting a hold of bunnies for your videos (Ways to hide a bodey)
