Absolutely awesome. The epitome of a Monte Python Style sketch, but still very original. Fantastic!

I wish the cinema where I used to work had a Killing Room. It would have been sooooooo stress relieving.

Seems like the kind of thing that would happen in videogames all the time.

I disagree with calling this video dark. While certainly killing is a dark topic in real life, in the context of this video it was a pretty lighthearted affair and the il-legalizing of killing in that world would be comparable to the legalizing of marijuana in ours.

Dark to me would imply that the situations were being taken seriously.

Although it is kinda serious to live in a world where someone just up and steals your wallet while you're killing a hooker.

Interestingly, police officers typically wear blue.

Hey now yous can claim all sorts as runners. Nurses! The Air Force! Manchester City! Uh... blue cheese? The possibilities are endless!

Also, I would say it was dark in subject matter, if not in its treatment of the subject. And the shooting was a little dark, what with the blood and all. I think it's in the realm of black comedy, but of a lighter complexion of some.

Now that we've defined the sketch we can safely laugh at it!...

Oh man. The writing was good.

When Paul first mentioned killing I was like. "Wait what?"

And with Graham's deadpan expression I thought i misheard so carried on watching. It wasn't until the third time I actually heard what Paul was saying after making it sooooo obvious.

Pretty good, I liked it.
It was really too big:

I give you this instead

Hey?!

What do people have against LARPers.

Also, larpers carry around, albeit harmless, weaponary that'll still hurt if you thwack people.

Aaaannnyyyway. Cool video =). Surprised James wasn't a cop... wait mirrory universe.

Wait a second... Killing is not a crime. That COULD be the mirror universe.

No wait, theiving is still a crime.

<.<. I should stop voicing my mind in posts.

An extremely tight-knit cast, but all worked together in absolute harmony.

Except Tim. He wasn't too great. Maybe you need a new Tim? I can probably find one...if you'll pay for a plane ticket...

What did we learn this week?

* NOW you tell me about like colours! Now that my DVDs are all shocking pink...

* Practical tip: If you're going to go about willy-nilly killing hookers, one of those wallet chains is a sound investment.

* It IS good to have all the details. Although I can't imagine when "do you have any family" would come up in a hooker-hookee transaction.

* Wow. It isn't a crime in Canada. Who knew.

* You can scotchguard a floor?

* In response to Paul: Because Twilight fans are already dead, on the inside.

This could easily be taken as some sort of social commentary but I have a feeling it is closer to LRR just having some fun with some dark humour.

I was actually shocked when Graham's character shot Paul's. Not something I would have expected even in this sketch. A good turnaround with Tim rushing in & berating about the non-scotch guarded floor. The last line in this sketch was my favourite.

Also, am I the only one to notice that the officer is standing not behind a normal counter but a study kiosk or possibly computer desk? Where would you film without UVIC :D

Edit:
1900th post. Woo.

I often feel we should contact UVIC offices and tell them how often the campus is featured in our videos and have them put links in newsletter, websites and booklets that advertise there school all around the world saying if you want to have a closer looks at our facilities please check out the following videos. Then precede to list half our videos out.

Best! Line! Ever!

Also, the gunshot was really well-done.

I foresee using the line, "Can I see you in the killing room for sec?" in real life to a person who will have no idea what I'm talking about. It just sounds like it should be a meme.
