Well, technically it's Morgan and Bill's place, Graham now lives with Matt.

Man, I felt SO SAD for Paul. So very sad.

Also: I figure that the blender worked because it was overpriced Infomercial Garbage. Er, I'm not saying that the actual blender is. Just the character it's portraying.

Aw man Paul has such sad eyes!

It was pretty funny. I did not laugh out loud but I usually don't. I think the thing that made me laugh the hardest was bagel time when the bagel hits graham...just my sense of humor.

P.S. ZOMG YOU DONT GO TO HEAVEN IF YOU KILLZ YOURSELF!! RAAAWWR! :D

Still, after watching this link you provided us, I still favor LRR's version. Don't know what it is...perhaps it's b/c they're Canadian and Canadians are the best :D Or I'm just biased and favor Paul over this other guy >_>

Wait...so was this a parody of that video or was it a coincidence? I refuse to believe lrr straight up copied collegehumor.

considering none of us watch college humour with any degree of frequency, I'd say coincidence.

Though the suicide jokes didn't work for me, but the pay-off at the end with the smoothie made this week's worth it.

Interesting coincidence I must say!

This is one those videos that the more you watch it the more you love it! :D (plus you are paying more attention)

I just had an awful thought of how much it would suck if the smoothie was a mayo-shake! D:

Ohhh... This made me so sad. It was done well, but it just made me cry when Paul died!

Was it intentional for the cars to go speeding by at the Stop Sign? Or is it also an "optional stop" when the stop signs have a white border on them in Canada as well?

Paul has a great deal of skill when it comes to silent but emotional characters. I love you Paul! (in a completely hetero and not awkward way).

The vid was good. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the morbid tone (too much of that going around in my life at the moment, for unrelated reasons), but it was still enjoyable. I found the blender segment really random (and I love random) and the bagel-free zone amusing (I also love self references, plus there are many really funny personal coincidences for me with the particular date). The ending was also very good (by the way, who are these nine out of ten doctors who approve sure-icide?).

There are all the smoothies you want in heaven...and no spillage.

the problem with College humour is that they either do a really good idea very badly, or they do a very bad idea really well, landing them with a whole bunch of distinctly mediocre videos

I totally had not seen the College Humor video (which is really well shot!), so I claim ignorance.

Also, gnosis (ie: an idea that's time has come).

Since there's been some discussion, and no doubt will be more, here's the benefit of my wisdom after watching the video four or five times:

The blender and the Sure-icide work because they have been featured in a "Has This Ever Happened To You?" advert. After all, it would be impossible to act in one if literally everything you touched went bad. So a side-effect of what is otherwise a serious affliction is above-average win with every such product. Hence Sean gets into Heaven, despite the ethical considerations that would normally arise.

Which I totally failed to understand the first time round.

... Wait, FLCL makes sense!?

As for LRR's video, I gotta say, maybe it's the fact that I only got less than 4 hrs of sleep, this one didn't do it for me, so much. A couple of chuckle moments, but I was left a little confused. Interestingly enough, after watching the CollegeHumor take on the subject, I understand this vid better. Does this mean there is something wrong with me?

(I agree with what's been said about CollegeHumor, by the by. A point that's illustrated by the fact that LRR is bookmarked, and not CH. :p)

Oh, I could see the humour, and on a technical level, it did work as humour, it just didn't work for me. Really, the only thing that I actually really dislike about this video is the fact that this is the third morbid video in as many months. I have nothing wrong with morbid videos, I'm just worried that Graham is turning into 1975-1985 era Woody Allen.

Which actually isn't that bad of a thing, now that I think about it. But still. BRING BACK BALLS AND THE KICKING THEREOF!

i think the fact that cH is providing an outlet for the 'ball kicking type humour' pretty effectively right now has led the crew to try to be a little more experimental in their style. i for one like it a lot.

Zivlok: where are these other morbid videos that you speak of? some of LRR's comedy is slightly on the dark side, but i wouldn't describe it as morbid, any of the violence and death has been more slapstick or non-sequiter than actually morbid in the same way that this one was.

Yeah, this often happens. Basically, I was just trying to make a joke about how this was the third or so video with the punchline being someone dying, and I was hoping that we weren't entering a Wood Allen era where everything becomes dramatic and unfunny.

tl;dr: I was making a joke at Woody Allen's expense. End of story.
