Re: Has This Ever Happened to You?
You guys really are getting more complex in with the writing of each video and I must say its working very well for you.
Your last 2 videos are probably some of the best writing you've done.
The whole premise for this video really is brilliantly simple and the narrative unfolds very well, at a pretty good rhythm and pace.
Yeah it was just a pretty hilarious awesome vid, keep 'em coming!

Why yes, and it's also down and bottom.
Oh wait, that's quarks.
Of what are ideas made, I wonder? And do I suffer from the same disability as Paul's character, only regarding data?

You should see us extrapolate where they live.
Or how "Phail" functions as an element.
Then there's the whole "Timeline of the LRRd" thing...
Yeah, we're a pretty wierd, albeit polite, group.

My appologies crazycat, but your avatar and name are pretty gender neutral, and as a gentleman myself I automatically projected a masculine persona onto you. Sorry if I have offended.

Speaking French also clashes with the British persona.

I think this thread is getting a bit off topic.
Anyway I just watched it again and the video gets funnier each watch.

Hey, no prob. I actually don't mind, but I thought I'd clarify my gender now. (Esp. since I got confused on other ppl's genders - now I'm all cleared up )

Re: Has This Ever Happened to You?
I'm thinking that because Paul has died at least twice that they should continue the trend in a Beatles-esque fashion. Every so often have a hint about Homo Mortuus Paul or how he's been replaced by a Paul look alike a la Billy Shears etc etc...
Just a thought. Any ideas?

Stop asking me difficult questions! Any question that requires thought to be answered is quite clearly not manly!

Re: Has This Ever Happened to You?
I was expecting you to bring back the incompetence music from the first few screw ups at the end and have Paul do something, or have something happen to him in the afterlife, I woulda liked that. Ah well, still a very good video.
Re: Has This Ever Happened to You?
Exactly. This is more of a "surreal" sketch than a "joke" sketch. Kind of like "Coming down with the sickness". It's different.

This is my favorite video since Eyewitness Accounts.
Awesome! The music was great, sweet use of B&W and the dolley shots are really adding something nice to your videos.

Second scene is, obviously, a street I can't really place with google maps
Third scene is outside the same building from Worst Day Ever, so it's likely UVic
Fourth scene is Graham & Matt's apartment from kitchen to living room (Dolly shot, btw)
Fifth scene I'm uncertain of. It's neither Graham's nor Morgan's room, so it could be Matt's as far as location-simple shooting goes
Sixth scene we return to Bill & Morgan's kitchen
Seventh scene is naturally the green screen on the moonbase.
That fifth scene is still kinda bugging me though.
Um...does it bother the LRR guys that the forum people have this detailed knowledge of their homes and bedrooms? (Not that I too didn't know exactly where every scene was) But, you never know with people....but then again, I guess it is Canada and not America. Maybe there really is a difference.

Re: Has This Ever Happened to You?
Well we have a lot of references to go from, which makes it easy. Even if you just watch TV enough, you'll start to pick out various landmarks and places that occur over and over that you can use to place where scenes are filmed. With over 5 years of videos, no budget, and no custom sets, the pool of places to film is small enough that we can all link them together, and anybody who listens to the podcast can link up which "set" is who's room or whatever.

Hmm, Look how many pills Paul spilled taking the Sure-icide. Perhaps there is a market for the EZ Pill spout. You would'nt need to cry over wasted pills, it could work. Just like magic. </2006>
