Stand-Up Guy
Stand-Up Guy
He wouldn't have lasted that long in my household. Just sayin'.
Re: Stand-Up Guy
pretty good, I liked how every time tim started playing it was the same chord (except like once) and the laugh track.

Laugh track! More poop jokes to anger those with brows stuck too high.
We are all made of star dust. However we are also made of nuclear waste.
Remember to think before you post.

Again, done as an intentional mockery of poop jokes.Lord Chrusher wrote:Laugh track! More poop jokes to anger those with brows stuck too high.
So, if their brows are just high enough, they'll appreciate the humour.

What a horribly twisted, sick piece of mockery.
I LOVED IT.

Re: Stand-Up Guy
Was there a new or separate microphone used in this? Possibly an effect applied to Tim's lines?
It sounds quite different, like he's actually standing in an auditorium doing an act.

Huh... I guess it would suck to live with Demetri Martin...
And seeing Paul and James dressed as pirates and throwing a roommate overboard just brought me back to my college years (of course, we threw people overboard into giant snow banks)
Very nice guys.

Great writing by Tim, and good acting all around. Loved all the potential roommates.

For half a second I thought you actually threw Tim off the balcony. Then I realized it was fake legs.

Nicely done. When the music/comedy mash up is done badly it really hurts and it's nice to see you lampooning it. Loved the shirts and the rejected potential roommates too.

Re: Stand-Up Guy
That was GREAT.
Definitely a cut above.
Has Tim written a sketch before? I'd like to hear more from him.
*Wiki check* Ah, he has. This sketch was better than Easy Bake Spore.
I especially liked the throwaway gags, like the craigslist ad with the line, "good sense of balance" and the little smashed-guitar sound effect when Tim lands.
Is that a stock sound, or was there some radio show trickery?

Figured I've been lurking long enough, time to...y'know, actually interact.
Anyway, great video. My favorite part was when James comes into Paul's room, then quickly leaves when he realizes they have the same T-shirt.
And now, my question that will probably never be (offically) answered: how would these guys have dealt with the potential roommates in Moving Out?

Fake legs?!
Graham, why didn't we think of that? Gah... All these weeks in a body cast for nothing.

There's a point where something gets so low brow it simply becomes ironc in some inane sense. So remember: always go to the extremes.
...anyway, good video, liked the idea of the mantle of making jokes kind of passed onto James and Paul at the end with the canned laughter

I see what you tried to do there, but if that were the case I'd have been credited as a stunt performer. Alas, Tim did his own stunt work. I simply made and operated the fake legs.

I am not angry at you.
Re: Stand-Up Guy
All these videos, and I'm still mixing up Tim with Matt until they talk. -_-
Good one this week, would've been much better if you threw Matt off the balcony, though. (joking, of course).

Alas? Do you WANT Paul and James to throw you off a balcony?
