I've already fixed "versatile" in the new edit.

Wow. I find this really brilliant, props to Matt for writing this in such a short period of time. Seriously, I could honestly see this being a segment at E3 and it all most scares me that this will happen at some point if motion sensing continues the way it is. This is one of my favourites for a while now.

Also, Paul is aging backwards.

Seriously, now. Paul could NOT have played the same character he did before the Shavening. He's just so much better at looking happy and youthful now!

Seriously though, my Wii has been collecting dust for the last 9 months. Before that, I hooked it up one night because I was feeling nostalgic for some Zelda.

Know what hasn't been collecting dust? My 360 and my wired controller. Even the wireless controllers haven't moved in a while.

Well written Matt! I have to say, you guys have a serious talent for parody of marketing. Just like "Inside D&D 4th Edition" and "Geometry Wars 2: Developer Spotlight".

While I would admit that I wasn't rolling with laughter, it definitely had me giggling with glee.

haha. couldn't tell this was written by matt ... :P
i am also afraid of the future of gaming controls. also the fact that nearly all new games have no replay value outside of multi-player. ah, for the days when you'd finish games ten times in one day and only stop because your eyes are swollen and thumbs bleeding. or, like myself, you had permanent calluses on your fingers throughout your childhood.

That said, it's a concept video, it wasn't really intended to be laugh out loud funny.

Matt, while you may not be on the writing A-list for the crew, one thing I noticed is that you really have a great grasp on satire. I think that is your strength in the crew, aside from pubescently boyish good looks, level-blowing nerdrage, and spokesmanship of course.

Did James, Paul AND Tim all get haircuts?? Only the well groomed are good enough to play with a joystique!

I thought it was mildly humourous, but I think I'm always a little left behind for these kinds of videos. To me, Natal is a city in northern Brazil that I would LOVE to visit. And that's how it will stay.

I like the Flux Capacitor and Commodore injections. Also the pit stop bit was good.

I agree that Matt makes the best spokesman-type character.

That was an intentional "dropping of the facade" to really drive home the point we were trying to make—that nothing beats a good enough controller.

Something that could have been added about joystick support existing for PCs.

"Looking back....to the future!"

I thought this video was good, despite other people not finding it that funny. I did "lol" a few times. The "no need to stand" bit was funny. Gaming as it should be, as it was intended - mental and visual stimulation, not bodily exercise! I speak as someone who proudly only owns a PS2, so my gaming is entirely motionless.

"You can sit, stand or lie down. It's entirely up to you." lolz

Matt, how did it feel to play a character who isn't blatantly being an asshole? xD
