but you weren't correcting anything, you were making excuses.
also, i'm not sure that you can over or under use an apostrophe, simply misuse them

This is why I am no longer using any form of contraction.
Possession will be my destruction though.

Nah, you just pretend you're English, speaking French speaking English: The house of Charles, the gloves of Sue, etc...

Good old genitive...
You could be Ancient Greek and just add a suffix to possessed nouns. Like instead of saying "Tim's glove", you say "Timos glovou".
Yeah.
Just like that.
This will help:

Well the cool thing about Ancient Greek is that if you think words sound better in a different order, you can put them in whatever order you want!
"Glovou Timos" is equally as correct as "Timos glovou". (Well, technically they're equally as incorrect, but whatever.)

This is awesome. Could Gibb cut in on this week's podcast? "Gibb wasn't able to be there while we were recording the podcast, because he was in San Diego cases some sun. Graham caught up with him later in the week."

Hi Ishamel, I based the WoD dolls on the (crocheted) human amigurumi patterns from
here, but corrected the stitch counts a bit so they made sense to me. The hair pattern (and Story Guy doll pattern) are based on a
Dr. Who doll. Costumes and accessories were made up as I went along...so they really are one of a kind. I've had to figure out the costumes
again for the DBfH auction set.
I really should have applied the "write everything down" aspect of science to my hobby...I'm a walking example that no, you
won't remember how you did something days/weeks/months later. :headdesk:

Do you need some close-up photos of the prototypes to help you figure it out again?

Thanks for the offer, but I've pretty much sorted it out (and will write down the needle sizes next time, dammit!
). This "one of a kind" thing is a feature, right?

All you need is a size F hook, yarn, and the internet. It worked for me!

Back to the video, specifically the screening advert:
have you guys thought of any way to reduce shadow on the greenscreen? I think the simplest solution is going to be a thin bank of uplights bolted to wide planks of wood, like 2x8's. I can see how it looks in my head, but I don't have the electrical knowledge to get it to work. Though all I think you will need is wood, an electrical outlet splitter or surge protector, and a couple plug-in spotlights that you can aim up at the wall.
I found spot lights at a dj supply site for 20 USD, so they are fairly cheap or can be really expensive.

We didn't light the screen for keying purposes in that shot, so we didn't really care.
That said, we actually just bought some new lights that are awesome and you will see us reaping the reward of, going forward.

On the topic of green screens, I know lights help reduce the prominence of shadows on the screen, but how hard is it to reduce the green that appears after the video edit (like the green in hair and glasses)?

Okay, just catching up on the forums, you watch LRR with your son? That's awesome!

Definitely my favorite LRR Video so far. Great job, I love the disagreement over which is more dangerous running with sharp objects or burning houses down (and then presumably using the sharp objects to kill people I would think this would be more dangerous to everyone).

Fun fact! Old English (ie, what the Anglo Saxons were speaking pre-1066, which eventually evolved into Modern English) was the same way. As long as each word had the appropriate tense and ending, a sentence could be jumbled up however you wanted and it would still work.
