We built LRR's Betrayal Legacy house in Minecraft

Postby Garwulf » 07 Jul 2019, 07:58

Hi all!

So, my wife and I thought it would be fun to build the house and grounds from the current Betrayal Legacy stream in Vanilla Minecraft (1.14.3):
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1d7CMt9YB4tF375hijKHM59oHD8c9u8aD

We have tried to keep it as accurate as possible to the state of the house and grounds as of the end of Chapter III in the last session. Time permitting, we are also planning to keep updating it.

Please feel free to download, share, and enjoy!

(For those who would like a preview, a couple of pictures can be found at https://imgur.com/a/O73JoZz.)

EDIT: This was built in peaceful, and then changed to normal right before sharing, so you may wish to wait a few minutes for all the monsters to spawn behind things for best results re: creepiness.

The map has now been updated: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1aphGR ... KikLEDRwBh

In this update, we bring the area up to 1767, four years after the disastrous events in the house on the hill. The nearby village has been updated to include an inn, church, town hall, and a couple of other things.

Enjoy!

EDIT: I just realized that I forgot to take the world out of "peaceful" difficulty before uploading the file - so, if you want the sound effects in the house on the hill to work, you need to reset the difficulty to "normal" or "hard."

So, we've been getting ready for LRR's next session, which will bring the game up to around 1830. Here's a preview of the village of HIllsborough (home of the House on the Hill) as it will appear after chapter 5: https://imgur.com/a/pE8aBsX
