You sir, did not see the commodoreHustle site. Although Graham's video of being nunchucked in the nards gained the most views, Paul's viral of things on his head has been going the longest.

It's so weird.

The fact that hes getting a following, and status in the.... i hesitate to even prepare to call it a Community... is topical, and AWESOME.

Things on my head has more subscribers than the LRR channel does.

What's funny about that. When they started Metal Gear August for Unskippable one of the forum replies was "Is Paul the guy from 'Things on My head'"
hehe.

Dude, go back & watch all of CommodoreHustle (11 episodes) because it rocks. Then check out the Hustle News for Operation: Viral Outbreak to see all the viral videos they created for episode 6 & YouTube in general. Then thank Evil Jim for setting you straight. Have fun!

Does things on my head need a theme tune?

I think a theme would ruin the mood.

BGM, maybe.

This sums up humanity. People find things on head funny for the same reason they find Fred funny ......... people are stupid.

(Not to disrespect Paul's work he item to cranium skills are quite excellent however it is not the hight of humour.)

Is it meant to be funny though? In the context that we place it in, Things on my Head and related statistics are humourous for a variety of reasons. Take it on its own. Is things on my head, to someone who has seen nothing else LRR-related, funny? No. But is it meant to be funny to that person? Like an in-joke with some friends where the phrase "I'm going to pick up some cheese" incites laughter. That too is not funny outside of that particular group, nor is it supposed to be. It is merely a statement, whether or not it is funny on its own is irrelevant.

Things on my Head is surreal, that is its power and why it fascinates people. It is not humour, at least not on its own, and nor is it meant to be, or should be. It simply....is.

I wholeheartedly support putting things on top of other things, if only for the purpose of making the internet a more surreal place. Go go internet surrealism.

That said, when I watch the videos, I feel like I'm on the inside part of an inside joke, since I know it's Paul, and I feel like I know Paul from LRR, more than the people who only know him from TOMH.

I'm glad ThingsOnMyHead is still going; I find it relaxing to just have a minute or two of relative peace; no surprise twist, no action or dialogue to think about, just...Paul...with something on his head.

It's almost meditative...ahhhhh...

i saw it a while ago (1st day) and i subscibed. in 2012 LIDL moves into canada, loadingreadrun crew are the most famous and loved people ever. They go into lidl but their is a secret german nazi conspiracy where they poisen lrr, the peak and role models of society.People disend into complete chaos whilst canada mourns the loss of the nations hero and remains peacefull. The usa always go over the top as they think they should save the day and take revenge. Nukes fly around, russian army (all people in russia now conscripted) mobilises, Isreal people with 1 nuke per man suicide runs, British posion tea, and stuff goes boom. Aliens come, wars fought with sticks and stones in alaska, religion becomes more active than ever in low times with few people/

Seriously? I find it quite worrying. I know there's no shock ending, but I tense up anyway, waiting for the scream or the sudden hideous image or something. It makes me very tense.

I've seen too many shock videos to be calm around a guy staring quietly into a camera...
it's just so sinister...even with Paul.

Halloween's coming up. Perfect time for it.

I was thinking how cool it would be if Paul could pull off what amounts to a silent screamer. Just cut to an extreme close-up of his staring eyes.
