I'd definitely need to wait until they reached the right age for that one, yeah...

THERE IS HAWT ZOMBIE LUVINS. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Successfully lurking since 1709.
Re: The Big Relationship Thread
On the topic of zombies... so yesterday I'm sitting in the downtown office, on a conference call where only about a third of the discussion is picked up by the phone. Over the cube wall from me I hear a discussion about zombies and why they shouldn't be able to run and who decided that. *sigh* Of course, since I"m on a call, I can't add my two cents to the conversation.
All the good discussions happen when I'm not available. *Blah*
PS... It amuses me greatly when the elder generation in my office picks up technology and "modern thought" that my generation put to rest over a year ago... hehe.

... Okay... I really did have something to add to the overarching topic at hand.
Moved in with the BF last weekend. Its working well thus far... living with a mechanically inclined vertically gifted individual has its perks.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Well, the date went well
As it turns out, she likes zombie movies! And fantasy/scifi! And Will Smith doing serious characters! She even hates the 'Movie' Movies too!
Truly a girl to keep close at hand.
Date #2 will likely be film-related, though whether it be a DVD or the cinema remains unknown at present. I'll see her again tomorrow for Anicom though either way.

If she's comfortable with doing date #2 at your house go with a DVD Lying. Then you can openly talk while you watch without getting really super dirty looks.

Try breaking out an older Zombie movie, hopefully that will go well. Beware the obligatory xkcd reference though.

Only one I can think of is the Mythbusters reference, in #397, so could you be a bit more specific please?
Think she might enjoy Wasting Away, which is essentially a comedic zombie film as seen from the perspective of the zombies themselves, who do not actually realise their zombie-dom.

Doubtful for date #2 but I'll keep that mind.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
There may or may not be possible or impossible relationship-like things going on in soon or later in my so-called love life.
We'll see hopefully by friday.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Hrmm this is an interesting turn of events. The one girl (who seems quite interesting) I messaged on *cough*OkCupid*cough* eventually messaged me back. Oh great, now I'm kind of expecting all the people I messaged will reply soon. Hah. That would my luck.
Oh perhaps this will prove at least interesting.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Im considering joining OKCupid but:
A) Is it available .... in England?
B) Joining a dating website just feels like giving up man.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
What I just realised is that I was texting J when R finalised our situation and one of her last texts specifically said verbatim "Never know, might meet someone there", and then an hour or so later I met N...
Spooky.
Especially since it was the Anicom Halloween party...

OKCupid... can be okay if taken in the right light. I believe it is available world-wide, considering some of the messages I've recieved there. Met my first BF through there, so it can't be too bad.
Oh... and for those in the SW US (Southern Cal/AZ/NV etc) try SoulGeek.com (Its available elsewhere, but has less following.)

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Okay, attempting currently to organise date #2 with a trip to the cinema (I'm thinking either Parnassus or Cirque de Freak, but final choice is hers) sometime in the next week.
No response yet, but since it's gone midnight and nocturnalism is something we don't share (At least not to my extent) I'm not surprised at that.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
OkCupid is world wide and is probably the best (mostly) free dating site on the internet, but I find people are to selective on there. Maybe they just are in too much awe of the dangerous level of my handsomeness. Yes. That's it. That's the only logical reason.
