iamafish is correct on that account. It is also a position worth considering carefully before proceeding.
My advice, for the 9.5 cents it's worth, pick one and go for it.

Because when we got engaged people were posting things like "I give it less than a year" and "it'll never work out" and such. Real classy.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Oh, yeah... I remember that.
To be honest, I didn't give it a year, either, because I thought you'd be gone for two weeks and a search team would find two skeletons with fused pelvises in your bed. I guess you guys have been more careful than I thought.

Hehehe... Well, we did break the bed last week. Apparently our cheap bed frame was no match for acrobatics.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
You need a gymnasium for acrobatics. There isn't enough room on a bed for you to get a good run up.
The most unique, nicest, and confusing individual you will get to know. Don't be stupid around me, that's my job.

We broke it before? OHHHHHHHHHHHHH. No you are thinking of my bed in Calgary. That was on the brink of breaking for years because when me and my best friend built it the center bar didn't fit and I had a PMS moment and told him to just put it anywhere.

This and the following two posts. I think there was a picture somewhere, too, but it's a lot harder to search for that.

Is it still your bed or is there some unclaimed literature/structural support to be had for some lucky renter?

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Being apart hurts a lot. Even more so when you don't know when you'll be able to see eachother.
But a bunch of you know this already, of course.
Also, I wish there were more words for the different strengths of feelings between "I like you a lot" and "I love you".
I keep thinking I want to say it, but then thinking "Oh, maybe I shouldn't" .. I guess I should talk to her about it, huh?

Are you crazy? Thats what she wants!
Didn't Sun Zhu say something about fighting battles on your own ground? that sounds like something he'd say, in a more eloquent way.
My point is assault her by surprise with a cheapshot from behind.
I'm kind of a big deal.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Jes, the way IX and I kind of fell into it was because I felt weird not saying "I love you" to him when I do to all my friends, and he was already becoming one of my dearest friends... so we rationalized that "I love you" was not the same as "I am in love with you" and went from there

...I just said it like after my first date with aubergine, and have been saying it ever since.
Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Why don't you tell her you like being with her and enjoy her company? Tell her you're always thinking about her. It's the little things.

Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it!
