You fools you brought the commander of fire onto a ship that was erroneously filled with hydrogen. Let me go or I'm taking you all with me.

You really think we'd bring you onto a hydrogen-fueled airship? We're not embargoed WW2-era Germany, y'know.

I sucked out the helium and put hydrogen in when you weren't looking last week. Haven't you noticed the reduced economy drive?

Yeah, that was the decoy zeppelin I was planning to use as a fireship against Dutch Guy anyways. I have personally inspected this zeppelin to ensure no tomfoolery from you.

This thread seems to have derailed spectacularly.

I find I often get asked for relationship advice, despite having only one (failed) relationship to my name. Do you have certain friends you turn to for advice or is this thread providing all the wrong answers you could ever need?

I have a number of friends that have been married longer than I that always have good advice. And warn against children.

I also find myself providing a lot of advice to some of my single friends.

I'm somewhat of the agony uncle for much of my RL social group, a lot of people asking me questions. Generally speaking my advice is more or less on the money, but it has been oft-noted that people are generally asking the guy with the least hands-on relationship experience.

Keab, I used to get that too, but now that I'm in a long term relationship no one asks me for advice any more.

I get asked for advice, apparently because I am "The ultimate reality check". I guess I'm just level headed enough to stop people if they're not being sensible, despite being terrible at relationships myself.

So as of yesterday another one of my ex g/f's is now married. That makes 3 who have gotten married to people they dated immediately after me, that I'm aware of (although one of those 3 has separated from her husband now).

Is it normal for this to be getting me down? I don't want to get back together with any of them, and I'm happy for them for the most part. It bothers me that it bothers me, if that makes sense?

I keep being asked for relationship advice by a few of my friends, which tends to shock me. The last time I visited my girlfriend we built a cushion fort, it's not exactly a "normal" relationship.

Admittedly the guy who asks me the most frequently decided that the best way to appease his girlfriend who thought he was spending too much time playing games and not enough time talking to her decided the best solution was to spend one day gaming and another talking to his girlfriend. So maybe I am at least mildly responsible.

Indeed, it is in fact an awesome relationship.

My cofounder and his girlfriend made each other potato cannons for valentines day. I have secretly resolved to find something more awesome to do with my girlfriend next year.
