Try learning a musical instrument. I drum to everything! I started to learn jazz yesterday and my drum teacher said I'm a natural at it. He's even pushed me on to the advanced stuff pretty quickly. That will be a few hours of fun for me.

Really, this is probably some good advice.

Get a job, start dating. Go out there and get hurt, over and over until you become immune to the pain and own life right up the arse.

Ok, serious tone. If you're bored with life, change the routine. Especially if you're not trapped by unfortunate circumstances. A mate of mine was in a similar situation as you except he was trapped.

To change things, he moved out of home, dropped out of school (Really, he just hated it so much.) is in the process of applying for the army and parties two, three times a week. He's never been happier, really. This is coming from a guy who was miserable for a very long time. When you change, things stop being boring.

Why not completely change yourself personality wise if you're tired of yourself? Just go out there and be an overconfident prick, make new friends and if you want, stop seeing them the next day. Honestly, when you've got an empty canvas...I would recommend going as nuts as you can to the point of reason.

Only then can you really know what it is to be bored, that when you go so nuts that it becomes routine. Then, the 'boring' life doesn't seem too bad.

Mix it up, man.

Develop serious psychological issues that drive you to do anything and everything to keep your mind busy out of a fear of being left alone with your own thoughts. I find digging through incomprehensible code helps with that. Or rock collecting.
