And some of us TRUE oldies are getting sick of people like you claiming to be oldies.

I've being here since '06, and honestly, don't consider myself to be a truly OLD LRR fan. That goes to people that were around before How To Talk Like Pirate.

I don't measure myself based on how long I've been here.

I figure we all enjoy the videos the same anyway.

I may be new compared to some of you, but LRR forever!

I love bagels too.

How much do you love bagels?

I go over to Siberia and hunt the bagels myself. There's no taste like a fresh bagel you captured yourself but one hour ago.

The first video I saw was the Talk like a Pirate video, but the site had been Slashdotted, so I had to watch it on a mirror, and while I *loved* the video, it never occurred to me that the people who made it would have many more videos worth watching.

I next encountered LRR shortly after moving into my first apartment, sometime between Max Effect and Green Noon were posted. I watched all the videos on the site, and have kept up since then.

I honestly have no idea HOW I found the site though...part of me wants to say I stumbled upon one of the videos. I remember being surprised to discover that LRR was the same group who made the Talk like a Pirate video, so it wasn't that one.

I usually have a pretty good memory about this kind of thing, but I always draw a blank when trying to remember how I found LRR.

Received an email link on Talk Like a pirate Day '06 direct to the site's "How to Talk Like a Pirate."

If you guys had had your videos on Youtube at that point I suspect I'd have been linked over there and wouldn't have come to the site until much later (Definitely by the time of Desert Bus).

I didn't join the forums until I had a suggestion for a video.

my fiancee introduced me to LRR, which he found through Unskippable. i'm pretty thankful for his curiosity :D

With all the Unskippables, & How to Talk Like a Pirates, I'm kind of proud of the fact that I discovered LRR through a link to "Shake Your Hands." It seems to be rather obscure & I've yet to meet anyone else who came here that way.

I know Graham from elemetry school. Many years later I ran in to him on the bus and he gave me a LoadingReadyRun business card (The slogan at that time was 'It's like porn but better'). A few weeks later I visited the sight; the first video I watched was Door to Door which was that week's video.

I have yet to meet anyone who came across it with the LRR3Ks (I think 'The Bright Young Newcomer' may have been the first one I saw...)

I started watching ZeroPunctuation at a friend's place and I saw a link to Unskippable, one thing led to another and... yeah.

First video I saw was The Bet. I met the guys at Kei-Kon and was given a business card and made a trip over to the site. I've been around ever since.

I found the site a month or two before Desert Bus (the first one) when searching for funny videos. Watched a few, thought it was good, then promptly closed Firefox, went to bed, and had a bout of sleep-deprivation-based amnesia. Then Desert Bus came along and Penny Arcade linked it. I was like "oh yeaaaah!", watched the thing, and decided to bookmark it. LRR's weekly videos became fodder for my day-based websurfing. I didn't join the forums for a few months after that.

The rest, as they say, is history.

As I recall, it was the summer of 1871. I'd just recovered from polio and had acquired a set of marbles from my late...PP linked here, I think Moving Out was the most recent.
