Anyone in need of a google wave invite? I have at least 20 invites at the moment. PM me with email address for invite. Anyone interested in D&D games using it if I can get Alex to join in?

I've played with it, but I don't have much use for it with my friends right now.

D&D via Wave would be interesting though.

Also I have many invites to give out for the curious among you, Google seems to hand them out like sweets.

Kathleen was kind enough to send me an invite, and now that I have it, I, like most people here, am not sure what to do with it. I'm imagining it's kind of like Twitter in the sense that it seems pointless unless you kind a way to make it work for you.

Also, doesn't it seem like there should be a wave app for Android based phones by now? I can do everything else Google offers from my phone, why not that?

Wave is still in beta, and they haven't put half the features in that it's eventually going to have. So that's probably why they haven't released an Android app yet.

Plus wave is not completely useless if you have a reason to use it. Its main pull is as a collaborative environment. A couple friends of mine & I have used it for our writing class to post, edit and critique our writing. But if you don't have some collaborative thing to work on, until they have the embed features up it's pretty much a glorified email.

yeah my (older) brother invited me, primarily so he could show me the ability to actively collaborate... on turning everything I say to "poop".

I've had it for a while now, and haven't done anything with it.

Oh, and I have about 20 invites too.

It's been out a couple months now and I still don't know what the heck it is. I'm getting very curious, though. It's something good for D&D and poop jokes apparently?

Long video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_UyVmITiYQ

Much shorter video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDu2A3WzQpo

Make sure you watch the second one.

I have it. I like it. It has a lot of potential in a whole variety of situations, and half the challenge is just to realize what those situations actually are.

I haver plenty of Invites still left, I can see where it could be usefull, but I'm kidding myself in saying it is. It could be usefull but the fact is that with Email, Twitter and other services that people use its kinda redundent, but if anyone has any ideas ... help?

Yea I've got it to I was really excited when I first got an invite but since then I've contributed to one wave and that's it.
