Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Here it is. Let me know if you want it uncropped or in a larger size.
For some reason(Probably the filesize), Imgur has it as a video, but if you download it(Via the "Download full resolution" button), it's a gif.
Oh, and the deletion link didn't show up. Not necessarily a problem, but kind of weird...
I also had a lot of trouble reducing the filesize. So, if anyone has any advice on that, I'm all ears(I'm using GIMP, and I already use both the Indexed colour mode and the "Optimise for GIF" filter).

The file size is huge because it's 237 frames of 480x480 real-life footage (which overwhelmingly tends to lack the non-moving, consistent-colored patches that are necessary to have GIFs compress well). Thinning out the frames (removing every second frame and doubling the delay on the remaining ones to have timing remain consistent) would go a long way towards making the size a bit less insane. Seriously, you could fit over 4 minutes of completely uncompressed 16/44.1 CD-Audio in the same filesize as that GIF.
You have a whole bunch of color banding happening, I'd suggest fiddling with dithering settings, possibly with a lower amount of colors to compensate for the increased file size that'll come with dithering - 128 colors with good dithering would look miles better than the undithered 256-color result you've got.
Here's a version that takes up about 1/4 of the space yours does while still going for the full length of Alex's squirrel-impersonation:
Every second frame trimmed out, resized 75% of the original size, reduced to 128 colors instead of 256, but with the dither turned all the way up to 100%.

Hello! I see we are GIFing again. May I request 0:40 to 0:41 of this video? (the drumming mouse) I'm not sure if that's too short or whatever, so if it doesn't work then that's fine.

Ah, it's beautiful. If it's not too much trouble, could you make it icon-sized as well?

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Made this gif for a joke in a Facebook chat. I did make a 640x480 version, but it I didn't upload it, since Imgur would have turned it into a webm.
My first time doing text on a gif, and I think it shows.

In the future, overlay the text after resizing, not before.
E: Wait, it looks like maybe you did? In that case, pick a better font :p

Can I get a "Whale Plaid" Avatar gif?
I remember the gif happening from a desert bus a long time ago but I couldn't find it in avatar-sized dimensions

Whale Plaid was referenced a lot over the past few Desert Buses, which specific moment are you referring to? Perhaps you can point us towards a YouTube video?

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
If you can send me that un-resized, without the text, or both, I can do a decent avatar version of it, although It'll probably lose the text either way.

Can someone turn this into a seamless loop? I'd try it, but I am still only a padawan GIFer.

I'd love to see Alex saying "PUSSYFELTCHER" as gif and/or a as a vine with the audio on it. I'm not even sure I'd be able to obtain video to work with it from youtube anymore...
