New material, from Markir Corp's Animations Branch!

So I've been on a Ghost In The Shell binge lately, watched all the movies and animes in quick succession, and now I have been inspired once more to GIFitize other people's hard work to allow snippet to be interesting little forum avatars! Thus, TACHIKOMAS!

If you would like any of the following, please lay claim in this thread. If more than one person wants one, either make a deal or I'll mediate.

Tricky shot.

Also I am nearly certain someone did it before me, and it is in use as an avatar already. Still, I will edit a preliminary and hold it on reserve until confirmed.

Hah I like the GITS/Trigun crossover. Nice work. :)

The ballkick was being used for a while, not sure by who, but it definitely was. I think it was either changed or they stopped posting.

Thanks, but all my GITS gif needs have been taken care of.

I used to have a pretty stellar one of Bill chasing Morgan with a cleaver from x ways to get killed in a horror movie. It was just the part where they run through the hallway, so it looked liek they were running in circles.....It would be pretty sweet if you could make that for me...

Ah, but was the ball-kick you're thinking of from Commodore Hustle or A Sacred Duty? I definitely remember one from A Sacred Duty being used around here for a while.

Someone had the Hustle ballkick, I remember because it made me laugh my ass off remembering it from Hustle. It started at the ballkick and ended with Graham doing his running dance out the door.

Ah, the running dance. That was a superb running dance. I enjoy that running dance. In fact, I shall now re-watch that episode, so that I can see the running dance yet again.

Well here's the premilinary.

It's an ugly shot to work with, because so much of it is audio based, and that audio starts actually at the tail end of the previous shot of James. So you get this quick cut to Matt screaming in the middle of the room, which allows absolutely no room to loop it seamlessly. Hence the fadeout.

Also, not sure what's up with the one imperfection there. It's happened for other gifs too when I scale them down. I can clean it up, but if no one notices it I won't bother.

What, the screwed up line of colour just above the bottom black bar?

I only noticed because you mentioned it...I think.

Per request. And I personally feel it is superior to the old version.

Still, timing changes can be done easily. So let me know what you think.

Good to see that avatar back.

And Matt getting kicked in the junk is funny regardless.

Can I have one of Brad from the add before "It's all in your head"? With him going "wwaaaaaaggghhh!!!" while the camera zooms in and out of his face?

Not sure what I think of this one. It's a tough spot to loop, but I think it works okay the way I did it. I'm considering, however, removing the green screen and adding a scene from Godzilla into the background. Trouble is, I'd never be able to recreate the zooming effect.

Sweet! That is awesome!

Do you mind if I use a few of those tachikoma gifs as avatars on another site?

Love the works there Alja. Always found making Gifs fun, kinda like editing together a short film, on a smaller scale of course. But it's always good to play with the timings I find.

Oh my god... The Brad avatars are freaking me out, because they're synced in reverse on my screen. So, when one Brad goes out, the other goes in.

How long will it take for someone to turn that into a sex joke?

An avatar I would really like is the one of the baby falling down the steps in Rejected Cartoons (by Don Hertzfeld) (looped so that it's just the baby constantly falling down the stairs, no zoom out), or in Billy's Balloon with the balloon picking Billy up up up and dropping him. Over and over.

...LRRvatars always confuse me into thinking the person posting looks like that crew member.
