Normally everyone that participates in an operation gets into the Runners, but because this is an unofficial operation, we can't do that. Instead of everyone automatically being added, we have to go through, nominate, second, and third everyone we want added. So with 3 people per nomination, only 1 vote per round of nominations, and a limited number of active runners....we are only able to get our favourite entries in, otherwise it will take months.

So if you don't get in this time, just wait until the next operation (official or otherwise). Or do something so completely awesome and beneficial to LRR/the community that we have to nominate you in.

EDIT: Oh, and just so everyone knows, you have 24 hours from this post to get your entries in.

Ah, yes, that. You see, you just fell pray to one of the classic blunders. The most well known is, of course, "Never get involved in a land war in Asia", and slightly less well known is "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line." Far less well known, but still very important (especially around these parts) is: "Never trust anything Master Gunner says or does."

Hopefully we've all learned something from this.

I would just like to say well done to our two winners, it was all a very democratic procedure with voting and whatnot and alas we lack the ability to bring in everybody who entered so we're doing it like this for the moment.

If you have any comments or ideas for future unofficial Runners operations, whether its criticisms about how it ran this time around or just general concepts for future UO's then feel free to leave them here or possibly PM one of us about it ... maybe we'll create a whole new thread or something.

I would also like to reiterate Master Gunners comments, there may be more of these or not, who knows. Like he said Runners stuff is kinda up in the air at the moment but feel free to keep being as awesome as you wanna.

And if I may expound on what both MG and Machalllewis have said, good job all. It should be noted that on a regular basis we vote on who we think best fits in with the LRRunners, and the more awesome you are, the better chance you have of us saying "That guy X really deserves to be a Runner".
