Re: The thread of win
I don't even particularly like Rugby, and am still haunted somewhat by being forced to play it in the cold damp Welsh winters in school, but that does sound exciting!
With a non-European non-Commonwealth country getting very competative at Rugby, now it's cricket's turn I guess‽ I would love to see some test cricket teams come out of East Asia.

Also, should be noted that Japan hasn't won a WC match since 1991.

And that there were something like seven tries scored and it was a genuinely brilliant game of rugby. Even the South Africans were impressed, and remarkably gracious in defeat.
(By and large- there's already been one petition set up for every member of the coaching and playing staff to issue a formal apology to the citizens of South Africa, and another for them to pay back all the taxpayer's money that SARU received for wasting everyone's time)

Re: The thread of win
Look what I did today!!!!!
I've wanted one for 5 1/2 years now. The second one, not quite as long (I'm sure you can guess why). Just in time for my wedding. I just got to keep them a secret from my guests for another 3 weeks. Also, 6 hours later, no scabbing, no blood, just a sore shoulder.
Edit: Fixed the photo

Being Human is back on iPlayer.
It's like a British Buffy the Vampire Slayer (without the slaying bit).
It's great.

I'm going to Hong Kong for two weeks, leaving tomorrow! I haven't been there since I was 6, so it's going to be a very different experience (not that I remember a whole lot about that trip anyway).

I know I'm probably in the minority here on this, but I'm completely excited and thrilled that Survivor is back. I've been waiting desperately all summer, and the premier did not disappoint.

I definitely need to watch that (and Gotham... and a handful of other shows) too. Even with the original seasons going downhill, I still enjoyed them all.

Surprised no one brought this up yet in the past few days since the ruling:

Re: The thread of win
I saw Kamelot live for the first time this weekend! I had expected them to perform only songs from the new album but they mixed it up with some of my favourite older songs. They played Karma! The song that got me hooked way back when. Tommy Karevik had such charisma and he really delivered an awesome performance, but he slipped into a very honest smile during the evening as we in the audience were so enthusiastic. He turned to the band, showed his hand at the crowd and said happily, "this is my home country!". I've been to a few concerts at this point and while some bands just perform, Kamelot had a sort of fluid dialogue with the crowd and it made the evening even more magical.

Found a special DVD-R with lost episodes of LRR related media (not Season 1). Saw it on the disc but could not copy. Going to have the disc buffed tomorrow.

That's the surprise. I managed to recover all but two files, I can work on those when I get to London. Currently on a train so I cannot do any uploading.

Or in Spanish, I think the correct acronym would be CPE: Cargando Preparado Ejecutar

Re: The thread of win
Somebody shove me into Orodruin if this is getting annoying but I have the compulsion of righting wrongs when I see Spanish - my native language - being discussed on the internet.
The correct spelling would be Cargando Listo Ejecutar. "Preparado" is better suited for "Set" rather than "Ready", or "Prepared". Listo has a better sense of urgent readiness. Preparado is a bit more passive.
Partitive articles: in Spanish, the partitive (of, from) is conjoined with the article (the) if that article is male (el). So in theory it's not "de el internet", it's "del internet". Except internet, in Spanish, is traditionally female word (there's some flexibility since it's a relatively new word). So if you accept internet as female, it would be "de la internet". If it's male, then it's "del internet".
I think there's a tendency to simply avoid using articles when referring to the internet altogether. "The internet isn't working" becomes "Internet no funciona".
Also, "Eres de Lunes" means "You're from Monday". Not sure where you were going with that. It's Monday = Es lunes.

Forgot about del.
I assumed The Moon was Lunes. I didn't want to cheat an look it up. I thought Lunes = Lunar. Monday = Moon.
So, Vivas en la Luna.
