Ever seen the same part of a show you don't watch twice?
My brother once told me how, in a repeat of Step By Step, he saw the mother get arrested and she complains about everything bad that happened to her that day. Then some time later, he say the exact same scene again.
Just today, I'm flipping through the channels, and I see Flapjack, a show I don't watch. I see that the captain has made himself extremely fat to fit into these jeand that are giant, and "if you can fit into them, they're yours!" This is the same scene I saw many months ago when I flipped to it and watched it for the first time.
Does this happen to anyone else? Or am I just crazy? Also, stop laughing at me, flying avacado!

I saw that episode of Flapjack today. Weird.
Anyways, I was flipping through HBO once, and it was Back to the Future 1, it was the scene where they're about to use the car. Same thing happened about a month later, but I saw the rest of the film that day. I still haven't seen the beginning.
And did you mean "don't watch" in the title?

YES.
I've only seen maybe 3 episodes of Family Guy, yet every time I catch it (or I'm somewhere with someone else watching it), it's those same episodes. What the hell, man.

All the time, I've only ever seen like 5 episodes of CSI New York and Miami combined, and they're always the same ones every time I flip past
pretty much anything on showcase is like that

No man, Family Guy just recycles jokes. I can see why you'd get confused.

Mostly happens to me with Family Guy, it helps (?) that one of my housemates torrents it a lot.

It happens to me all the time with SImspons. I've maybe seen 10 episodes, over and over and over...

Re: Ever seen the same part of a show you don't watch twice?
Not show but one time I was asking this girl about Prince and she recommended listening to Purple Rain by him. I kinda dismissed it but then I found that at an oddly high number of places I went to (e.g shops) it was getting played, this being over a number of weeks.
I ended up buying the song and listening to it all the way through after a friend flicked her telly over to one of the music channels and it was being played.
Twas very strange.

Nothing to see here.

This happened to me with Seinfeld back when it still had new episodes. There was one episode I saw three times in a row despite only watching Seinfeld about once a year and I thought the show had very few episodes.
I can't remember what episode it was though.

This isn't really a case of seeing something I don't watch, but I'll post it anyways.
I used to have a portable TV next to my desk. I'd try to tune in for the Simpsons or something every night. Well, eventually I figured out they had like a 3-4 month rotation. Basically starting with season 1 and working their way up.
I dunno, it was kinda weird the first time I noticed it.

I'd seen just the first twenty of Alien: Resurrection four times before I saw the film.

That title needs some serious rewording.

That happened with me and the Megaman cartoon. I swear I've only seen the episode where he says "I was about to be mega mush!" and it was almost always that scene.

This has happened to me a bunch of times, but I don't really remember which shows.
