Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
Re: Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
I'd like to meet Graham by complete coincidence at a bakery, as he scarfs down muffins with devilish glee.

I'd probably have to go with PAX, merely for the sake of a shorter drive... Though now that I think about it, desert bus time might be nice, as I'd be able to wave hello to the internets while I was there.

I think just randomly stopping by is a bad idea, but I've always thought I might visit during a Non-DB time, since so many people already do it then. Of course, I'd say, "Hey, I'm gonna be there on this day" LONG before hand, just to make sure.

Yes is a perfectly valid answer to that statement.
And if I am ever in Victoria (as unlikely as that may be), I would be more than willing to hold the boom, in exchange for none of you paying any attention whatsoever to my lapel button.

considering that my meeting with them plan involves working for them (for free, but in a resume building non-slave sense) I'd definitely agree with the notify first tact. also, any other mode seems too stalkery.

History shows that cake is the best way to get in at this point in the game. Unless you think you can still manage to weasel your way in through Chemistry class or a newspaper conference.

Is there a deadly cupcake just like bagels? If so you should bring extras.

not unless stated, remember, it is clearly implied that donuts are fine, and cupcakes are not even similarly shaped.
still, I assume more is a good thing.

Re: Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
well, not quite, muffins really don't have the same consistency as bread (unless you include corn bread, and you know we don't), and they're still a bit sweet. Bread isn't. these would really be strangely shaped buns.

Re: Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
The best way for me to meet ANYONE from the Crew were to be by coincidence, perhaps at a Subway or grocery store. That way I can recognize them, do a double-take, walk up and greet them, ask for a random autograph on anything I have with me at the moment, then be embarrassed and awkward when I don't have anything to write with on me.
[Edit]: A screening would be nice too.

Alright we're getting off topic here.
So, when you visit the crew, bring a cake and whip a bagel at Graham.

I have already met the crew - they are good people - I would vote for a screening as I would have the chance to meet other LRR fans.

oh, sorry, we meant a cake, not the cake. Although... that explosion might make one dandy distraction...
