I voted for PAX, since I'm going to be in Boston in March, I hope at least some of the crew are going to be there.

A LRR screening, I feel it might just be awkward at any other time.

Re: Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
I wouldn't want to meet LRR unless they asked me to. To them, I may just be some creep on the internet. Why would they want to put themselves in jeopardy?

Re: Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
What if they're the creepy ones? Maybe Lyinginbedmon never left after he met the crew. They skinned him alive and now Bill has taken his place in England. It would explain why Bill isn't often in videos lately. It explains so much!

Previous experience, safety in numbers, and series of prop weapons which still probably hurt a damn when you thwack people with them? In all seriousness though, I think they're cool with it as long as we go through the trouble of arranging it with them, but I doubt they'd really invite us without knowing us pretty well or having a reason.

Re: Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
But isn't "meeting people that like what we do" a pretty good reason?
I'd sadly never be able to meet the LRR-crew, seeing as I live in Denmark, and it's pretty far away, and I'd have to have either a shitload of money, or some other reason to go to Canada. Maybe some time in the distant future.
At any rate, I think Desert Bus would be perfect. You're close, there's time for a few chats, you can help out in whatever way they might need, and at least just stand off cam and watch the shenanigans.

However, invite and allow us to invite and plan the visit ourselves are two fundamentally different things. I think the record shows, they welcome us if we take care of it and don't expect them to be our personal monkey troupe. (As I have stated before, however, my plan basically involves serving as their personal monkey for a few weeks at there behest. This, I some how imagine they'd be pretty cool with if I go through the proper channels... which I should probably start actively getting on in the next 2 to 3 months).
you'll make it eventually, m'friend, all you have to do is BELIEVE!Longshot wrote:But isn't "meeting people that like what we do" a pretty good reason?

No I didn't:

I just implicitly counted Bill as 3 people.

Re: Theoretical: When would you like to visit the LRR?
If the entire trip was devoted to LRR, I'd want to go to DB. Beyond that, seeing them at any convention that I may already be going to would be super-cool.
