Our climate is pretty variable so i feel like i'm properly exposed to most temperature and weather changes. That's something i guess.

But -55c is a little inhospitable. Are you a Cimmerian?

Well as allot of you know im in Finland, snow has been on the ground here for weeks and its -20 on average. A bit warmer now and snowing. Very different to my normal xmas of 30 degree heat, beachs and barbeques. Its a bit colder than a freezer. Apparently it gets colder than -20 ohh how fun :P

we have about 4 inches of snow and temperature is between -12°C and -18°C most of the day. (10°F - 0°F)

Its a dry cold so you can go around in shorts and t-shirt as long as there is not much wind and you only have to be out for up to 20min.

Sick, I'd never wear sandals.

Also, I left all my swords in Canada

Err... I mean.. Swords, we don't need swords where we're going.

No snow expected over here, it doesn't snow in Reykjavík anymore. Thank you global warming.

(Reykjavík is in Iceland, by the way.)

Considering we have had one white Christmas in Victoria in the last 20 years I am not getting my hopes up.

In the Pacific North West you usually get dry cold weather or warm wet weather. Only rarely do you get the combination of cold wet weather that gives you snow.

While I am happy to be home for Christmas and seeing my friends and family I weather wise I would much rather be back in Australia.

I understand.

Hey, here on the island (two can play at this game, Cybren!), we've got a healthy mantle of snow already.

FTI, Montreal is an island too.

Nope. You'd be looking for the gold-ish brown kind. That's the kind that's been used to cool maple taffy.

Here in Winnipeg we haven't had much of the white stuff. It snowed about a week ago, but just a sprinkling and since it has been well below 0 (-35 last week and warming up to -9 this week) it's stayed but has been blown around or stepped on, so it looks like less than when it was fresh.

We got our first snow after thanksgiving...

Last week we had a blizzard with like 15inches in a day...

People still don't know how to handle the snow when driving...
