Who do I owe a drink to?
Who do I owe a drink to?
Lets see here:
I owe one to Morgan and one to Jer and Tally
I know I have offered in the past to Evil Jim
And now I am going to try my hand at brewing soooo... Five gallons of beer in about a month and a half folks!

To Jim Henson, for all the hope and dreams you shared, and all the lives you touched.
To His Holiness The Dalai Lama, your compassion may just help to save the world, or perhaps teach it to save itself.
To Sadako Sasaki, victim of the madness of humanity, your hope and innocence gave us all the promise of redemption.
To every musician who has sung true and beautifully...
To every artist who has poured their heart into their craft...
To every idealist who has chosen not to settle for being what we are, but to strive for what we can be...
To every person who has dreamed of some day doing great things...
To every dreamer who has sacrificed what they wanted most to do the right thing...
To every saint who has sinned in time of weakness...
To every sinner who has stood up for what is just...
To every parent who has sinned against their child...
To every child who has sinned against their parent...
To every person lost and afraid...
To every person hopeful and brave...
To every last one of us damned and blessed creatures...

To Honor and To Baseball
To Honor: May you get honor, stay honor, and if you can't come in 'er, come Honor...
To Baseball: May you stay single, see double, sleep triple, and make it home at the end of the night...
Oh wait, is this not the right thread for this?
BTW, what are you brewing? IPA, Belgian Wheat, Stout, Lager, Girl Beer, what?

I believe it was for simply living in the same state as I do.

Awesome.
I'll be in Green Bay next May with my father for when Wisconsin officially welcomes home its Vietnam Veterans. I don't know if I'll have time to hang out but at the very least you can have a warm, fuzzy feeling that I'll be that much nearer.

Is it odd that I read that as if Brad were chuckling and complimenting his own sense of humour?
Such as: "Oh, me. I'm so witty."

Also, I'll take a drink so long as you're making mead.

That's pretty much how I read Brad's response. However, it's his only post in this thread so I'm unsure exactly what his statement even means.

Re: Who do I owe a drink to?
I'm guessing that a drink is owed to him. A comma or ellipsis would probably have cleared things up.

To those who most look like they need it, and to those who have gotten a smack in the face trying to do something right. To any clown brave enough to show up costumed to a funeral and any mortician who gives out balloons. To the nearest suicide ward's most perpetual nurses and every head of oncology you can find, and to any psychiatrist who has never medicated a family member and any artist that is willing to. and most of all, to whomever fails to write a pretentious list of who deserves a stiff, thorough drink. Salud.
