Saxton is one of those victorian-adventurer names you just don't see anymore. Shame.

Despite most of the original post's photo being photo shopped it's actually kinda funny how many bad titles and heroes there were in the golden age of comics. I just had a lecture yesterday for my comic and cartoons post WW2 class. My favourite had to be "Doll Man" no lie, there was actually a hero named Doll Man.

I laugh at you Mr. Puck Stealing Turtle, the Saxton Hale's ones are "dope as fuck". I also had this thread on during school and my teacher saw the bid, red, bold text saying "Giant Sized Man Thing"... I'm not allowed on the internet at school anymore. Heh....

Can I just say that Saxton Hale's Mildly Thrilling Tales is possibly the most under-stated title for a comic ever and as such should be honoured in some interesting way.

I <3 the saxton hale story line.

Also, in case it hasn't been pointed out yet, "saxton hale" is an anagram of "hot anal sex". Gratuitous, but necessary.

I'm going to have to jump in here and say that no, that is in no way necessary.

All hail DEATH PICKLE!

I really need to raid my longboxes and pull out my weird old comics.
