When I say that I saw the punchline coming, I mean it as a good thing. It like after watching countless hours of LRR comedy, I find the same things funny as the crew does.
I will also second approval of the graphics. Those were looking pretty spiffy.

Re: NEW LOADING READRY RUN VIDEO ON THE ESCAPIST: THE JOB
I'm going to guess Bill was busy with schoolwork, and Morgan was being a lazy wanker who didn't show up that day. Possibly because he was at the hospital. The question is, VD or dislocated shoulder?

Suddenly that script idea with the warring armies of Matts and Tims doesn't seem so far-fetched...

Well, on Tim's twitter info he has "Sevenhuysen", which is what I'll always go by.
Really excellent job with the graphics. Good stuff guys!
Bill's probably busy being really tall, and Morgan's probably hiding behind him.

Re: NEW LOADING READY RUN VIDEO ON THE ESCAPIST: THE JOB
Wow.. I gotta say, I'm just going to ignore the dim-witted Escapist community and come to you guys, because they obviously don't know REAL comedy.
That was something of sheer brilliance, with that amount of attention to detail and just.. I don't even have words. If I had to mention a favourite moment, it'd be Tim just silently nodding with an eyepatch and hologram-watch.
Oh and of course the slow-motion walk to the EPIC JOB OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!

Loved it, I read the comments by some escapists forum members, wow they do whine a lot. (Don't really frequent their forum at all)

Re: NEW LOADING READY RUN VIDEO ON THE ESCAPIST: THE JOB
Tim WAS epic in that video. He should always wear an eyepatch, it really goes with his beard.
Loved the video, probably my favourite in a while because of the great integration of greenscreen, effects and live performances. And of course, slo-mo corridor walking. You gotta have slo-mo corridor walking.
Also, Kathleen, International Veterinarian of Mystery? BRILLIANCE.
I think the Escpaist dudes are confused about the format, some seem to think it's a continuing story like Doomsday Arcade. Give them a couple of weeks and they'll be groovy about the whole thing, I'm sure.

It's just various people talking and sometimes they do things in brackets

Agreed. In future videos, Tim should always appear with an eyepatch and that cane. They go very naturally on him.

Awesome. Brillarious. Kathleen killing an army of kitten-hating clones made me laugh a lot, as well as Lord Tim's eye-patch (which, by the way, he totally rocked) but... anyone else curious about "copyright Bionic Trousers Media"?

He should just wear it all the time.

Re: NEW LOADING READY RUN VIDEO ON THE ESCAPIST: THE JOB
I agree Katie, the escapist people are just a bit confused, thinking it's a setup for a longer series. I'll post later saying that we do a different sketch every week and explaining it a bit.
So far, it seems to be well received though!

We are licencing the LRR updates to the escapist, so they are still copyright to us, AKA, Bionic Trousers Media - our company's operating name.

Re: NEW LOADING READY RUN VIDEO ON THE ESCAPIST: THE JOB
As I said in the Escapist thread, I, for some reason, expected "Grandmaster James Turner". However, a Hispanic (I'm assuming) title was a lot funnier. Nice job.
Edit: OH, I almost forgot. AWESOME job Mr. Rains. That music was most definitely perfect.

Ahhh. I see, that makes sense. Kudos for being important enough to have an operating name then. Also, this looks like a great start to a great season of comedy for LRR.
HUZZAH!

Graphics! Graphics!
Slo-mo! Slo-mo!
Credits! Credits!
These things and more made this video a new favorite. Tim must forever adorn the eye-patch and cane, and I would fully support a spinoff dedicated to his character.
If Bill were in the video, I would guess he would be a weapons master or a supreme locksmith. If Morgan were in it, I would guess he'd be the "Huggy Bear" type of character, the smooth and clean ladies man who knows what word is on the street.

It's official, The Escapist community are absolute whack-jobs. Twice, they've referred to "Damn it, Jer!" as being Paul or Graham when it was clearly Matt.

"new steveland" a reference to the pact.
also distinct lack of Morgan and bill is interesting... I knew bill was distancing himself from LRR because of other priorities, but i didn't realise Morgan as well. or was he too lazy to show up?

Chill, Hileicit. They're new to this. That was the first time they heard Matt's voice, and it's not totally clear who's talking since he pretty much has a mouthful of sofa at the time.
They will learn, but we have to be patient in return.

Crap, I just realized you actually did use Grandmaster. How did I miss that?
Anyways, the opening sequence still gets me.

this line was made all the funnier when accompanied with angry, rolling-pin-brandishing Gromit
