Do you have a particular brand of toilet paper?

Inspired by the latest LRR video, I was left to wonder: Do other people use a specific brand of toilet paper?

I admit that I do. To be honest, the whole development completely surprised me: I had never really cared so much, and just bought whatever was cheapest, until one day I stumbled upon what I currently use and was so impressed that it actually made me care. Now I refuse to use anything else, even though it's in the upper-mid range of cost.

As of yet, I have not met anyone else who shares my fervor, let alone about the same brand.

For the record, it's Cottonelle Ultra, in the purple package.

So what about you guys? Do you have the same passion, or am I being ridiculous?

I don't have a brand I like, but I always great very soft multiple ply toilet paper. One, because you use less of it so it lasts longer. Two, because I have an intestinal condition and when it's acting up, I gotta go lots. Nothing it worse than rough paper on a raw bottom.

Mentioning puppies reminded me of Francois Rabelais's opinions upon wiping your ring piece with animals.

I don't buy the toilet paper in my house. It's rather basic stuff, but it doesn't bother me. Occasionally, there are these really small leftover rolls my father brings home from the church he works. Those aren't as nice, but I'm used to it.

The big-ass Costco megapack. It's not so much quality over quantity, but the stuff is pretty decent.

Actually I don't buy it, but at home it tends to be a mid-range two-ply, can't remember what brand it usually is though. At uni it's a crappy one-ply, but it manages to get the job done after I fold it up a few times.

I made the mistake of buying the grocery store brand in bulk because it was on sale. Let me just say, it is unsatisfactory, and I still have about 10 more rolls of it. I'll use it, but I'll resent it.

You become significantly less picky when your dormitory bathroom only stocks the basic 1 ply. That being said, every time I visit my folks, I feel like I'm wiping my ass with a fleece blanket.

I'd pretty much supply my own. I wouldn't wish that sandpaper-quality trash on my worst enemies.
