Desert Bus Win
Desert Bus Win
I was really pleased as I managed to write an entire section about Desert Bus in my A-level exam today.
The question asked for an essay on volunteering and how it can benefit society, culture and science. So I was able to write a load about how Desert Bus uses media and gaming to raise money for children in disadvantaged parts of the world.
Thank you Desert Bus!!

You did remember to include Octopimp right? It is just not the same without his epic sniping for the kids.

Re: Desert Bus Win
Did you get in any mentions of Tucson or Bust too? Cos that put an awesome button on the whole deal from top to bottom.
Nothing to see here.
Re: Desert Bus Win
Well guys, I won't know how the paper went until March time, but if it goes well, Desert Bus helps me into university (haha the irony of watching LRR to help with education!)
Unfortunately in the heat of the exam I failed in mentioning Tucson or Bust, but I did mention that the LRR crew "would dance, sing, and hold auctions for people to bid in. The generosity of some (such as the infamous Octopimp) helped raise huge sums of money for the cause". I wrote something like 8 pages on this question and another 8 for the other so I was running out of time and wished I could get more references in.
I think we can conclude that the examiner will be a new lifelong fan of Desert Bus.

That is genius. You win at state exams, my friend.
Often outnumbered, never outpunned.
Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

The only way that would be ironic is if LRR adamantly opposed education.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

I meant that by watching TV/playing games/using the internet and stuff, or in this case watching LRR, instead of doing revision helped me with my exam.

The title of this thread gave me an idea.
Lord Kat should do an Until We Win of Desert Bus.
That is all.

This is indeed for the win. Congratulations to you for a quality essay, and congratulations to Desert Bus, for being a quality essay topic.
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.
