Cookies for Desert Bus

Hello, and greetings from the Cookie Brigade!
First, as a Cookie Brigadier, let me apologize. By the time I got to meet you guys up close at PAX, I was all out of snacks, so I had nothing to give you. If you're unfamiliar with the Cookie Brigade, allow me to explain. We bake and then give away free cookies at PAX. (Prime and East...we're Bi-Coastal!) While they are strictly optional, we DO accept donations for Child's Play in return. Following this simple plan, we've raised over $13000 since the creation of the Cookie Brigade in 2007, with over $3000 of that raised just last weekend at PAX-East.

Now, we're certainly a long ways from Desert Bus time, but I thought it might be nice to contact someone now to get the proper information. We, the Cookie Brigade, would like to send a care package your way to help pass the time and nourish you a bit during your Desert Bus for Hope event.

So, if you're interested, here's the info I would need:
1) Favorite cookie flavors/types (chocolate chip, oatmeal, etc.)
2) Any special dietary needs (we made a number of gluten free and vegan cookies for PAX that were very popular)
3) Contact info (email address for coordinating and mailing address for shipping of cookies)
4) Any other special requests (We don't do just cookies. If you'd like some other snack, just let us know, and we'll do our best!)

And, as always, thanks not only for pumping out high quality humor by the gallon every week, but for the amazing contributions you guys make to Child's Play every year with your event!

We'll definitely be in touch!

I think we're meeting next week to start planning DB10, so we'll get this all sorted out then, or at least get started talking about it.

Desert Bus Ten?? Or is that supposed to be 4 in binary? As long as we're on the subject, I think it should be called "Desert Bus 4 Hope."

Shouldn't it be Desert Bus 4, a New Hope?

Any who, I will have art for you guys to auction off by the time (my much anticipated but quite arduous DB3 memorial Poster, and maybe some others) And I might actually try to trek up the coast and help you guys out in person cause by then I'll be West Sided. If I do that, you can be sure I'll bring and or make Snacks.

Also, Jim, if it was DB 4 in binary, it would be DB100.

I think the closest we'd come to that would "specially" shaped cookies...and frankly, I don't see those being very popular. :)
