I thought that the whole 'we can put our differences behind us you monster' bit was very appropriate considering it was first shown at the PS3 Press Event, what with Gabes previous comments. So I dunno I just thought it was sort of like Glados saying, you monster to the PS3 but I'm sure it was untintentional.

I think my initial impressions were something along the lines of "wait, doesn't this thread belong in Games and Gaming?"

Anyway, there are some actual gameplay videos on Gamespot and they are awesome. Propulsion gel is cool. They also have the actual part of the game that GLaDOS's speech comes from.

Some may think that, but it's Valve. One of the criteria for L4D2 was to prove how fast they could make a game. Yet, Valve time.

...is Gamespot still around? I just assumed it died ages ago. Oh the memories of waiting for videos to load on its videoplayer where your quality was based on your speed and not necessarily if you were willing to watch an advert.

When I fist heard that portal 2 was going to take place 1000 years in the future in a dilapidated aperture science I was a bit skeptic, but this looks really good.

Portal 2 will be "Steamworks enabled," which includes community support features, such as chat. It will not accommodate cross-platform play.
