We're doing a bunch of ads for the Anime Evolution convention in Vancouver, where we will be appearing in many, many panels and events.

Mr. G to-the-Star K, I think your ad may be a little bland. While certainly consistently comedic, it lacked a certain flavour. If you will permit me this analogy, this ad was like a porridge with not quite enough sugar. Edible and nourishing, yes, but nothing to excite the taste buds of our convention-going tongues.

My post was mostly about how watching anime is like scrubbing a cheese grater over my nipples to me, but yeah what you said is good too.

I admit that wasn't what I first thought you meant. Oh, well. I stand by it.

This one is about Manga

I shall refrain from nitpicking about which direction the covers are printed in.

I will, however, say that you probably should have had actual manga in the covers.

Personally, I like the ads. They're fun to watch, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Honestly, I don't know what you guys are complaining about. I think these are spot on. They're funny, without being distractingly so, and they deliver relevant information concisely and in an interesting way. Plus they've got kind of a weird hyperrealistic flair to them. I think the purple starburst behind Graham kind of adds to that.

Haha, I like the second one alot more then the first, but they're both pretty funny. I like the "English Dubbed" version of Graham, lol. Also, James reading the Yaoi manga was great . Man, I hate so much that I can't go to these things. If ever I wanted the power to teleport, now would be the time! Well...actually I always want that power, but you know what I mean.

Hilarious stuff graham. All three were hilarious and I especially though Alex's overdub, James' reaction to Yaoi and 'THE GAUNTLET' was especially funny.

It's definitely harder for LRR fans to come out to AE since so many of them live far away from BC. We've tried to make it easier by offering airline discounts through Delta/NWA and WestJet, but even with discounts it can be a hefty chunk of change.

All I can say is that Loading Ready Run is great, and I look forward to their involvement with Anime Evolution. And I mean really... they're really REALLY great.

Oh god, James reading Yaoi. And I think I've read Mechs and Emotions... (and maybe 1 Guy and 8 Girls In High School... maybe) English dub jab was great, but honestly I like it better, If I wanted to read I'd just stick to the Manga... yep...

I quite like the adverts. Theres alot of subtle humour you'd get if you watched anime or read managa. Also Gibb and tentacles? It all makes so much more sense now, imagine what a puppet could do with 8 hands instead of one...

These make me wish I didn't live thousands of miles from B.C. Anime Central is a good con in Chicago, but without LRR, it can never be considered great.

It's kind of a fancy version of Settlers of Catan. Most versions (or at least any of the ones that I've played/can afford) use flat hexagons with only pictures of the resources instead of pretty sweet 3D hexs. It's a pretty awesome game though and if you have the opportunity you should definitely give it a try!

Also, I thoroughly enjoy the ads! While Graham does come off a little creepy, it's no worse than a creepy used car salesman, who despite his personality handicap would probably sell you a decent automobile. Consequently going to Anime Evolution is probably a pretty awesome thing to do! I once got to learn the basics of rapier dueling there! I haven't been in a year or two but perhaps these mesmerizing ads have convinced me to give it another shot. Thanks Loading Ready Run!
