But really, what other kind of dangerous bears are there? I couldn't very well say, "he's a Malayan Sun bear, watch out!"

Because really, you're not scared of this guy, are you? At least grizzlies can do some damage

Man, I love Sun Bears; even though they would probably beat the crap out of me.

They just look so awesome.
I'm kind of a big deal.

We have two at the zoo where I work; they're really cute.

In actual gay news, I present you this New York Times Magazine article. I haven't had time to read all of it yet, but what are your thoughts?

HAI GUIZE I LIKE TEH COK!

(Sorry, we were starting to get WAAAAY to sidetracked in this discussion).

As for something gay, tonight is the premiere of season two of Drag U on Logo. Drag queens take biological women and make them into drag queens. It's campier than a gay leader at the Boy Scout Jamboree, but it's kinda cool, because these women learn to be comfortable and empowered in their own lives by jumping past empowered all the way to "Through the Motherfucking Roof" Diva.

I'd make a bad drag queen, cuz I look too masculine.

This usually means you'd be an excellent drag queen.

I've had to stop calling people bellends and knobs on the gaymers mumble; it was getting far to positive a reaction.
It doesnt help does it?

Sorry to double-post, but I've recently started watching Oancitizen's Brows Held High, and I thought his review of Angels in America would be germane to this thread:
http://blip.tv/brows-held-high/brows-held-high-angels-in-america-4469275

Watch his other reviews, too, they're really good, usually hillarious. He decided to take a much more serious tone for the AiA review.

Question time!

what counts as "gay clothing"?

I was talking to a friend about what I should wear on my not-date, she thinks that a V-neck T-shirt is gay. thoughts?

I used to (and still kinda do) think scarves are gay, but one of my gay friends has informed me that that isn't necessarily the case.

I fail to see how any particular article of clothing can be either homo- or heterosexual. But hey, what do I know.

While my scarf may have being made by a gay man, the key attribute he imbued it with was pure awesomeness. And +2 protection from cold.

Yeah, clothes don't have anything to do with sexuality. There are clothes that are portrayed as stereotypically gay, but as we all know, that's silly.

It's unfortunate that dressing well/fashionably, for men, has been portrayed to be a gay thing. EVERYBODY should dress well. Men shouldn't be allowed to look like slobs or wear tacky things, regardless of sexuality.

Scarves are friggin' awesome, no matter who you are. Plus, neck warmth!

See, this guy knows what's going on.

I still need to make you and Paul that hat... Ach, and I have a bunch of other stuff to knit for the crew.

Avoid these and you'll be fine.

On second thought, the Frankie shirt is probably okay, too.

In my personal opinion, I don't think any particular item of clothing would be considered gay or not gay. I have several gay and straight friends, and you wouldn't be able to pick out the gay ones by the way they dress. Unless you wear a shirt that says "I'M GAY" in big letters, I don't think you're clothing is going to give away your sexual orientation.
