And once again I feel almost guilty for living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The problem is, even California is actually mostly red. The Bay Area and LA tip the scales generally on social issues, but then, gay marriage still isn't legal. Sad to say, there are probably better places to be gay than SF

The US just needs to get its head out of its collective ass when it comes to social issues, so that it can proceed with the head-from-ass-removing on other issues.

So, there's an election going on in the province of Ontario. Over the weekend, (allegedly) agents for the Progressive Conservative party (lol oxymoron) distributed inflammatory leaflets that were against the anti-homophobia curricula and resource guide of Ontario schools. Sweet, right?

Meanwhile, I am still about 99.998% in the closet, but it isn't totally because of my mom or dad rejecting me. I just really don't give a crap to tell people about my sex life. I think it stems from the fact that I said in high school that dating and relationships weren't important to me, and in some ways they still aren't. But deep down, I am dying to fall in love, to meet the one person that I'll truly want to sleep with the rest of my life both sexually and... er... cuddly-ing-ly?
