The WJMTCFPCA (sorry, long initialism)

Postby tak197 » 06 Jul 2010, 15:54

As seen by our PSA (linked here), we, here at the William Johnson Memorial Training Camp For Proper Canadian Apologies, are professionals at showing the fine masses of both Canada, the UK and the US (sorry if your country wasn't mentioned, you are welcome to come here as well) how to properly turn your small infraction into a well-polished mea culpa (which means "my fault" in Latin, sorry if that wasn't clear enough).

We strive to ensure that only the highest quality of apologizing for mistakes, large or small, will enter into our planet. (We are sorry if you are on a different planet or galaxy, as we are not sure how to show our guilt in not being able to include you verbally or graphically in this conversation [I also want to apologize to all the Grammar Nazis out there who may think that the previous sentence has too much ambiguous phrasiology])

So enter in your applications, questions for our staff, and other tips and tricks for making sure you can convey your remorse. (Sorry, that was a bit too direct, and I didn't say please first.)

I was born into a Canadian Apologizing home, but I feel my sorries have been slipping lately. Do you do refresher courses?

I'm sorry if this is a bit rude, but tak, you live in Pennsylvania.

I'm sorry if it seems that I am not part of the Canadian public, and therefore it looks like I am not qualified to be a proper apologist. I am originally from the US, but I feel as though I was called to provide such a place for the people of this corner of life to correct and learn how to say sorry.

I apologize if I assumed too much.

No no. I'm more than mistaken. Truly I'm sorry. You seem an even better apologizer that I (my shrink says I should be less self deprecating, sorry if I'm no good at it), I was just worried that some others might get confused.

I should have mentioned it in a more private setting, sorry.

I too apologize for living in Pennyslvania!

I'm also sorry I was away and didn't respond to this thread earlier! I feel it's really my fault that I wasn't here to participate, and I sincerely apologize.

I'm sorry, but I've got you all beat.

I apologize so profusely and with such skill that Canadians tell me to stop apologizing... because I'm starting to annoy them. (I think they're just jealous)

I am Texan we may have the good old southern hospitality here, but we ain't got no apology. If you could figure out away to work through our unapologetic state government I just know many could benefit from your many fine lesson plans.

As the third Pennsylvanian in this thread to apologize, I too must say I'm sorry. We just don't have our apologies here up to standards

As Pennsylvanian #4, I would just like to apologize for the above statements by tak, alex, and korri. Under no circumstances should their apologies be reflected as apologies from the state as a whole. I am sorry for that previous disclaimer, and would like to apologize in advance for any future Pennsylvanian statements contained herein.

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I can't believe I would something so insensitive! I'm really, really sorry about that, and I'm sorry if my apology in any way offends Pennsylvanians #3 or #1.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. You aren't STARTING to annoy us.

You have to stop apologizing.

(Sorry to everyone else, you really didn't have to see that)

Would a sorry by any other name smell as sweet? I regret to say that it would not.
